Kirito DW Guide

As we all know, Dual Wield, was introduced because of the popular anime series Sword Art Online (SAO). I have then determined that in order to make the best DW guide we must follow the protagonists build. After many grueling hours of studying film I have uncovered the ultimate DW build used by Kirito himself.

Stats: STR > AGI
In season 2 episode 4 around 6:45, Kirito states that his primary stat is STR followed by AGI. My guess is either that he maxed his ASPD and then went full STR, or did a ratio like 2:1, 3:2, or 5:3. Thanks @kelden13 , @WindSlash , and @Tensai

Skills: 96
Kirito does not use his skills regularly and only relies on them when needed. He is always looking to get stronger and faster and so focuses more on his passive skills that enhances this. Many of these are seen during his battles or in his comments to other players. Any additional skill points you have should be used towards survival since Kirito was a solo player for most of SAO.

Equipment:
This section is only for appearance only and not for stats. Kirito is known for his STR, ASPD, and to a lesser extent his EVA. I suggest to keep this in mind when gearing up.

Mainhand: BD sword
Offhand: Sword of Sin (Mainhand when equipping only 1 sword)
Armor: Warrior Mail Light dye black
Additional: Old Cloak (until black add dye then Cape black)

As I have stated, since SAO is the reason for the introduction of Dual Wield, then we must follow SAO's most famous player when designing our build. Have fun, and remember that if you did in game, you did in real life. Be safe everyone, let's all get to the top of Aincrad.

Disclaimer: This guide is not the best, but it still isn't too shabby. It is just a guide designed after a character in an unrelated anime series which has no true relevance to Toram. As the guide's creator, I do not suggest following it except for those avid SAO fans, and I myself do not follow it.

My only critique of this build would be to remove the knight skills and add those ten points to Sword Master and Dual Sword Mastery, better to invest in raising the passive atk, imo. I would also lose reflex altogether and use those 5 points on more HP with HP Boost. And lastly, LOL@ full STR builds for DW.

Other than that, it's a very solid Kirito-esque build.

You can't get rid of Kirito staple moves though. If you deviate from this exact build, all hope in truly being Kirito(the best) is lost.

Kirito loves to block using his sword and was doing so before he had his DW, so parry is a must. Also, he often dodges at the last second, implying that he has the reflex skill. Lastly, he has stated several times that he is a full STR build. Nothing to do but follow his lead since DW was implemented using him as the foundation.

SAO is the best, SAO is life!

P.S. Seriously tho if you were actually going for the Kirito armor look it'd be all black dye on a ooze armor, granted you'd have to settle for White C ~'0')~

 

Kirito doesn't have any fancy armor though, usually a black t shirt with his signature black cloak. Maybe an all black warrior mail?

I was thinking of doing one on her, "Asuna the Berserker Mage." I haven't had a chance to sit down and draft hers out just yet. I think I may need to revisit the film for more understanding.
