Maton BGM

So this entire buried tower area is based off of iruna, the map theme remix is from a dungeon and the boss theme is a remix of an iruna boss theme, i just forgot which boss. Maton drops a 'slebinian' torch. Slebinia was the land that Mezzaluna (The ancient empress) ruled over (before she fucked up lmao). I forgot where i was going with this post, i just wanted to share because its honestly such a nostalgia trip.

 

The map is a buried Tower of Zebul (where the Magic Cannon and Bossheit originally were at); Maton Sword looks like an upgraded Matar rather than a Maton (without becoming a Matardora); and the BGM is a remix of Altadora's BGM (last Darkan boss).

 

Oh holy shit you nailed every thing. I sort of figured that it was the tower of zebul but does that mean the place where u fight maton (and the hill in the background) is all darkan? Its at least the OLD Darkan as the new Darkan is probably near einklang and past the road to elban(?) Whatever its called.


*theres also a chance this is the alternate iruna Darkan from episode 3 but idek anymore

 

I just now found out! Maton IS a Matar!! The sides of his armor plates have a worn out logo of M.A.T.A.R

Matar doesn't have a sword anyway... And it uses boosters to accelerate and use supersonic punches...

Although the first few machina slebnia created only appears to follow order the ones near the end of the episode are evidently smart and has their own ego ... So it might have learned to use a sword after such a long time

 

I just find it odd that Matar is now M.A.T.A.R implying that slebinia had a whole arsenal of, not just matars, but many different super weapons like Maton Sword. Whats odd is the fact that this single specialized matar survived the past centuries since iruna became toram. After mezzaluna and sianas were taken down, slebinias plans were more or less destroyed which means there is no reason for matars to even be here in the first place. My theory is that, the elevator/teleportation device at the buried tower entrance, takes u so far down, u end up in a well reserved portion of iruna that hasnt been touched by the cataclysm. Ig we have to wait and see what that castle in the distance is once the map is released.

 

Yes... Am ready for the feels trip!!! Maybe an abandoned factory has reactivated? I think these factories can run independently such as the factory run by jabek vvv this guy


It also kinda irks me the previous old tech robots, dubbed golems (ruin golem, excavated golem, pillar golem) doesn't have that "slebnian" look.... And they also have different architecture... i wonder wich countries used them before since none were featured in iruna except the slebnian ones...

 

U right u right, it sucks that the only remotely slebinian things in toram are, Maton Sword, Ancient Empress and Proto Leon. And the Wizard cannon too.
Off topic i hope they include easter eggs from other episodes of Iruna; Raton II, Ouvel, Gatekeeper and Joshka were so iconic as final bosses.

At the end of Imitacia mq, the legendary warrior said he was gonna round up the heaven army, that means we probably get to see the Warrior of Light, Specia, and Cordal (maybe)

 

Wouldn't the Army of Heaven be actually the Iruna Heavy Knights of Ep3? Irai, Theru, Rua, Rufaty, and Dym? Also the plenty of warrior spirits of Noieverre (not just WoL), and probably Seele Zauga being now an "adult" and the current Goddess of Species?

 

I feel like the buried tower area is kakeula. The place where gadave was at is similar to buried towers deepest. Also forestia had tree dragon blauzens bgm toram has given me the urge to play iruna again

It is not Kakeula by ANY means because that's on a completely DIFFERENT dimension (Remember that you can only enter the dimension where Kakeula is frpm the area where Gerust is at), plus the tower is in fact Tower of Zebul, which is where Bossheit and the Magic Weapon are at.
Also, Blauzen is the Wind Dragon, not the Tree dragon (I don't think we even have a Tree dragon unless you want to count Botaniga for that one).

Maton look like the guardian to the next map under construction. Wonder if new story quest will be in that map.

 

This is an interesting topic. I've gone through quite a bit of Iruna's MQ since I decided that Toram is boring for now. Tower of Zebul's BGM are very similar to Buried Tower's.

I think that it's kinda weird the Maton statue was facing towards the tower instead of facing towards the hills in the background. I'm still unsure where the next MQ will be, as there are 3 maps under construction: one after Maton, one at Gravel Terrace, and the last one is Towards Eldenbaum at Einklang. Though for now Buried Tower is a non MQ map, it could be that the maps after Maton Sword will be non MQ as well (like Suedor cliff and beyond). Or maybe we'll get to explore there in later MQs.

 

I totally forgot, the army of heaven is all ep3 i believe, cordal is ep4-5. So far all iruna representation in toram has been episode 1 (unless u want to count ep2s dragnewts, kaiser and the fact that the residents of drafbourgh foreshadowed the events of the cataclysm) i mean hopefully they do the thing they did with the bee dude in ep2, but with nurethoth.
Which iruna episode would you all love to see most represented in toram? I prefer either 3(ouvel final boss) or 5(joshka final boss) mostly because 3 incorporated the classic alternate reality scene where all the what ifs came true (like for example, in ep3, everyone lives in a universe where the main character never stopped Mezzaluna and slebinian nations, leaving all other countries to go into hiding. Then they took that 180 with the angels and demons and the whole ass IRUNA knights n crap) and 5 was just good all around. Also 2 and 4. All of them lmao, except 6, i know 6 is currently going at the moment but its lowkey lame.

 

This is attention to detail I would never have expected out of Asobimo, it's actually super cool to see
