As much as I agree with you and want more people to read this, the only thing I have to say about this is: that's how it is. Most people think about themselves and their benefits, and have little to no consideration for other people's needs. It's not only present in Toram, but in other games and even real life.
Your story just confirmed the truth I have discovered many years ago (saving you the details).
However, I sincerely hope that whoever reads this change their ways and become more willing to help.

As for me, I try to be as generous as I possibly can: accept all classes in my party as long as they don't leech, let people leech if they ask politely, etc (there's moments where I'm too impatient to help people though).

Nice speech, it truly moves my heart.
It reminds me when the first time I help 2 newbies, I guided em for days, they followed, for weeks they followed, for months and still following.
And by the time I realized, one of them became my best partner in every bosses I fought duo, even at empress. And the other became my best disciple and even took some lowbies and guided em to be his disciple.
And the best thing is, he became a Guildmaster that currently governs my guild helping lowbies to get stronger.
We may never know whats in the end of road. But I do respect on what u did as u may never know what she/he will become. Not now, maybe later she/he will blooms. We too are newbies when we started Toram.
Respect to u sir from the depth of my heart.

If I could like this 100 times I would! I can't even count on my fingers how much times I've given up my time to help newbs, help with gear, level up boost, and barely even get a thank you. Respect goes both ways!
Sure the elitist mentality at boss like roga ,mezza I'd bad you can say- but who wants to pty and to end up dead cause of a newbie who rushing through mq still has no idea of the basics of the game.
I done almost everything for myself, an I'm sure many others on this forum have too- I don't see why we have to cry a tear for every newbie kicked cause they can't hold their own. At the end of the day this is game targeted at kids and played by kids mostly.

one more thing, the least thing i can do to help lowbies (which I may have done it less than my time remaking char), is to suggest them a boss dropped gear/help em get one, their 'OMG! I got it!?!? A BD Crown!!' on chat is more than enough as a daily in game mood booster.
Teaching them how to be independent in game is better than spoon feeding em, as in fact, the latter may bear a consequence of them thinking that all high lvl'd players r generous n worse, it may break their hearts when they meet a less nice high lvl'd player.

If any part of my statement regarding the community is wrong, please enlighten me.

I don't see anything wrong with helping new players so they don't have to go through the hardships we did. I understand the point behind small articles and such, but it's not her fault that the new quests are not there when you started the game. Why punish her for it?

Your idea is basically saying, we went through the hard way and so should she. That's like walking into a car dealership and the sales person says 'Want to drive a car? Go learn how to build your own. Do you know how hard it was for us manufacturers to develop cars so they become what they are today? And you want to take the easy way out to just walk in with money and buy it?'

We, being the more experienced players had it the hard way, but that should not deter us from lending a helping hand so others don't have to go through the same thing. I'm not saying leech her to 80, but then kicking her from party when she was KO'ed is uncalled for either. If you needed to kick a person, do it as soon as you realize her level is too low, why kick after she is KO'ed?

    Start of Playin Toram
    Option A Combo

Hardships > Asked Help (swift) > No one help (smite) > Hatred (save) > Lowbies askin help (consecutive) > Reject to Make em feel the same hardships (consecutive) > Hatred spreads (consecutive), continues to other persons
    Option B Combo
Hardships > Asked Help (swift) > No one help (smite) > Realize how hard it is alone (save) > Lowbies askin help (consecutive) > Help em so they dont feel the same (consecutive) > Kindness spreads (consecutive), continues to other persons

It seems a combo is more understandable than a heartfelt post.

You made a good post, it's just that not everyone read thoroughly and carefully on the purpose of your post. I do like posts like yours, it has deep and hidden meaning to it so that everyone can spread their kindness as I'm an imperfect person too myself.

Me and my sister noticed this right away when forming parties. I am a level 80 mage, but I could care less who is in my party. I help out who I can. If they need extra support, that is what parties are for.
Even during boss battles. It may take longer, but if we work together, it is possible. I help them know their role too (if swordies, i ask them to please flinch as I am usually tank, unfortunately). Also if you are farming an item (regular drop, xtal. Really anything tradeable) and I happen to get it, I will give it to my part members, no compensation. We are all working together. They could have easily gotten the drop, it just happened to drop for me. I will gladly give them something they worked for as well.

This game is very team based at higher levels; something many are still getting the concept of.

The only thing wrong with your statement is the amount of sentimentality behind it. Your story was good and uplifting but that wasn't your ultimate message. Sentimentality in and of itself is OK, but you're basically judging someone's humanity by the way they play a game and I think that's the most worrisome point.

You didn't get my idea at all. I never implied that helping a newbie was a bad thing. I do it myself, sometimes, but for it to be expected of everyone is imposing your will on them. Not everyone plays with optimization or efficiency, but to those who do, who are you to judge them? Who are you to tell them how to play? At the end of the day, the people they kick not going to cry into their pillows because they got kicked from a party, that's all.

And you don't have to do Marionette to level up anyway. As many people have pointed out, bitter nuts and nisel wood are still worthy contenders, enough so to push you way past the point you can handle Marionettes.

Your analogy was kind of broken, btw. It didn't make any particular sense in context. If you want to learn how to drive a car, you don't go to a car dealership, you go to a driving school. The car dealership should be your end goal, not the place you go to at the beginning. Similarly to Toram. You don't skip nisel and go to Marionette hearts.

Toram is sizeable. You know where I expect to find newbies who only just started playing? Forest wolf, eerie, BD, etc... Because they're following the MQ and getting acquainted with the game, not skipping to the end.
