Anyone getting bore with Toram

Yeah that hurt. Haha. I guess i should build a mage too, to throw away this sad feeling xD

 

Find an all Mage/support party, auto-use revitas, use armor with decent def (BD). Went 1-43 yesterday with minimal deaths and close calls.

 

I always have Close Calls at Skeletons. I know when to run and cast MP Charge so i can Wall to kill the Incoming Mob that's chasing after me.

 

Craft or buy a BD body for the time being. The added def and HP will help you greatly.

 

I've been dropping entire rooms of Skeles since level 24 (literally power leveling myself), the issue isn't HP - you're using the wrong spell in the wrong farming spot lol. Wall in my opinion sucks for Skele farming - it's best used in more strategic manners like blocking doorways.

 

I'm not DPS, so I don't have Blast.

 

If you are getting bored with toram don't look for reasons to leave. First off the game just came out so things will be a little slow. If the mage parties bother you find an active guild. That changes the whole environment. Farming rare drops will always be tedious don't give up. To change up the routine look for people on the forums to group up with. You will see more active members on forums then you would see in toram. Be patient things will get fun again as long as you spend it with the right company.

 

This morning my guildie just got a eerie crystal. He post in our guild group and makes everyone fire up and start hunting again lol. it's more about fun than getting angry

 

Disclaimer : Just coz I'm mage I don't discriminate other classes. (No Mage master class bullsh*t from me!)
I used Wall + Charge (Just use any 2 skills you comboed to lvl up your combos and increase CP,the skills I used are from mage.)
It lvls fast especially when farming with the combo.
By lvl 50 I have 7 points from doing that.
I personally use these combos...
Attacking combo : Arrow>Javalin (Chain Cast passive) [Smite]>Charge [Swift] (4 CP)
Farming combo : Wall>Charge [Swift] (2 CP)
Also brawler has a AoE. From brawler skill tree 2. (Though not as crazy as wall)

Umm btw im a mage aswell... And i think it would be better to have different types of characters each party, cause the mages can pull monsters using aoe attacks, melee players and long ranged players can kill those pulled in... Then as for boss farming we have... Suppots/attack for mages they heal the tanks while being chased/hit while attackers break and drain the boss's hp... That is what me and my other party members do... (we are all below 50) ps (i got the idea frm the anime 'Log horizon')

 

Survival skills and max lvl hp increase.
This should give you more than 1k hp even at low levels. Skill points used: 15

 

That's pretty standard party based tactics, and IMO where the fun of an MMO comes in. Mindlessly mashing an attack skill is boring, party dynamics and filling a role are where it starts getting interesting.

That said, to a degree tanks can pull from a distance if they have provoke. They can't pull from the same sort of range that mages and archers can but its preferable to have the tank using a provoke asap so you aren't dealing with a loose aggro.

 

LOL totally agreed with mage party...went to skele to try try...first impressions...shout lfp as a warrior/ tank for almost an hour and not a f*ck is given...and mage got their party like a free and easy... sad...
