What do u guys think about Combo System in Toram?

    today i asked toram online support wether "when doing combo, if the monster dies before you get to cast the skill, it will stop" is considered a bug ?
    and they replied
    and to my surprise, this condition "When you defeated the monster during the cast time" is acknowledged as the part of combo system.
    i mean its okay if i farming solo, but when party ? other member could've killed the monster already, which will make my combo fail.

    so i want ask your opinion or maybe a suggestion, because they said "However, we will take our players comments into high consideration and hope to reflect in future updates.".

    Well, if you're farming and you use the Impact> Storm combo, if you start the storm and the mob is killed the storm still cast

    What you should've asked is if and when they'd raise CP. 10 isn't enough, maybe 20

    Yeah, if the enemy dies before you finish your combo, it will stop.
    It might be annoying in some situations, but it makes complete sense.
    Sometimes, if an enemy dies while you're casting a skill, the skill will continue and attack the target that is already dead.
    Now imagine that happening with half your combo hitting a target that's already dead.

    Use impact>storm(smite)>mp charge(swift, because what else).
    When farming you won't use most likely mp charge, and have to manually do it because swordsman at moon palace dies because he is trash.

    I rather make the combo system so that you can use 10 cp in each combo slot rather than keep *that you have to unlock to balance it out* than just have a ton of SP

    I wish we could make combo branches. Like we have a combo that starts with 1skill and continues down the line until u get the cross section skill where if i add a second input the rest of the combo changes to an alternate but still predetermined combo route. If u don't make any new inputs the combo will continue down the main branch till it's completed or unable to continue. This could be used for players that like to use long combos but can't because it holds them in one spot for to long. They make the alternate branch combo a shorter branch allowing for more mobility midcombo. More cp is also needed because most of the best/my favorite combos eat too much cp and don't leave enough for a second combo.

    I think it's ok right now. If they increase CP cap then that would be gr8. But I do like @ViPR 's idea

    They just need to increase cp cap. The current system makes sense. Anybody who wants to cast a super long combo can face the consequences for said combo.. i personally use 1 mp 4 skill combos as a main and a 4mp 3 skill combo that has a skill like storm or tempest or phantom slash smited for 150% dmg which i use situationally. Except on my 2h the main dps is a 2mp bar combo but it can handle that easily

    It needs to be easier to gain CP once one of your other characters has reached the CP level above the CP level of your current character.

    yeah, i thought it was a bug too. it is annoying when your combo doesn't connect because your target monster got killed by your party member first

    well they could develop a more advanced targetting system, like if your target dies before your next combo, you will auto-target the next living monster so your combo won't fail. just a thought really

    I think that the combo system is pretty nice (imagine having something similar to this in iruna and/or avabel).

    That said, I do agree about the targeting thing. It's kinda such when your combo isn't fully executed on mobs because one measly mobster dies.

    The only other thing I would add is Combo Shortcuts. Right now the shortcut to one's combo is the shortcut to the first skill of that combo. But what if the icon was represented by something like a "C1" (Combo 1). This would make it possible to have multiple combos that start with the same move (which currently can't be done).

    If only you can continue the combo after the boss dies. That would be easier especially when trying to lvl up CP. I wish you can use the same skills in different combo's. Maybe increase the CP cap too.

    Theres no way around that in any game. Some combos just work and other combos just dont. There isnt really an in between no matter how you slice it. Not everyone even looks at these forums some players just learn through trial and error. It all depends on ones playstyle. There are always options but not all options are good for damage. Some go with control over damage others damage over control. Even if there were a branching system there would still only be a certain amount of good combo branches. At least with more cp we could choose wether we want to control or dps and opponent without changing our combos every single time. And we could in fact create different combos that would work in sync like a branching system either way. Using the buff from impact to reduce the mp cost of a second set of combos and so forth. As we get more levels we will be able to get more skills anyways. More cp is indeed what is needed.

    I do agree with the combo 1 combo 2 thing. That would free up multiple combo choices. Especially since i prefer astute as my opener most of the time
