What about guild war?

Got something enters in my mind and to my guildies, what if there's a guild war? It would be fun though conquering castles with your guildies and defending it from the other guild ^^ so yeah what you guys think?

 

Wouldn't work because devs won't add PvP and PvP won't work because lol skill balance.

 

They won't add this feature...But it would be awesome

 

maybe something like "War of Emperium" from ragnarok online ?

so like you have this emperium stone in the top of your guild's castle, and everyone from another guild will try to break it, and your job is to protect it no matter what.

They could balance the skills when fighting other players.

You expect them to balance PvP when PvE is hardly balanced at all?

 

I'm not saying that I would expect them to do that at all, after all Asobimo has an agenda; but they could add PVP eventually.

 

They could, but gawd will it be bad. Whatever, ya'll want though.

If it does come out, I certainly hope they realize how powerful Storm + Blast spam would be.

 

That's why game companies need to learn how to add balance.

 

Crowd control would be easy for impact users and brawler skills.

 

from my experience in MMORPG, PvP is the hardest to balance out of all game modes.

even a great MMORPG like Guild Wars 2 that excell in PvP mode still have a hard time when it comes to balance it.

 

I find it hard to do a guild war. Since you can't PvP other players you can't really fight. Makeing a tower Defence based mini game for guild wars would be lame.

How will you even get in a guild war tho? Will there be like a tab there saying " search for a guild " then you can fight them? If so they would need to add a roster of the top guilds, and that could make Toram Online a bit to competitive.

 

All these things just can't happen. How do you propose Toram does guild wars? PvP won't be implemented, and if it does, not for the English servers. Maybe there will be a world boss but don't forget this is a mobile game. Not a PC one. So they're limited on what they can do.

 

Basically saying, Toram has its own story. You gotta be the hero (player) to save the day with all other heroes, the united worlds, facing crisis which is the dark crystal, the unknown god.
If PvP would be implemented, the story itself would crumble as well.
That's my opinion tho.

Instead of guild wars do a pet battle system. Lol

 

Yes, it's a bit "spice", but there's no official ranking for pvp, and no official rewards for it, that'll be okay alas the main quest doesn't involve "Kill *insert player name here* dozens of times"

 

Its going to be guild raids.

 

If it'll gonna happen then I'm in. ^_^
