Guide: how to rape silver roar .. alone

First, this is a guide not class build, so I wont post any other unnessary info.

This method is well-known among many players. I did not invent it.
U need to be mage.
Max wall, arrows, MP charge and lv1 smash.
HP boosts to your liking.
Thats minimum requirement on skills.

At least 700 MATK. It should not be a problem if you are pure int at high level.
Keep you max MP between 3-4 bars (at least 3 bars and not more than 4 bars, I will tell you reason later.

Combo:
Smash > Wall + smite > arrows + smite.
You see that whole combo need more then 4 bars to executed successfully.
But we have only 3-4 bars. So last skill wont be executed. So smite on wall wont consume extra MP.

Steps:

1. 1 normal hit, this is required to make the timing on using combo perfect and your casting wont be interrupted.
2. Use smash. Combo will be used here.
3. After wall is used, run back outside wall magic circle.
4. If there is actual wall behind s.roar, it will not bounced outside your magic wall and target will take more hits from magic wall. Or if your normal hit is successfully hit, your wall damage will be higher dued to different damage type and should kill silver roar. So use MP charge to refill 3 MP bars.
5. If conditions on bullet 4 is not meet or you feel your wall wont kill target, use arrows and MP recharge afterward.

PS1: holy fist should works the same way as smash.
PS2: if your MATK is really high. 1 combo should kill s.roar in any condition.

This is due to the fact a physical atck hit first correct? Thus making magic double in dmg?

 

Not double, just higher.
Smite effect makes wall dmg higher too.

 

smite makes that skill do +50% I beleive.

but question... isn't s.roar long range hitter also? I don't really farm it but the other roars are. and if so is it possible this can cause you to get killed if your hp is too low?

 

Yes.
You might take 1-2 hits on each fight.
When u walk outside magic circle, its attack wont reach u. Just watch the embedded vid, u will see it.

I know the game isnt refined well nor complete.
Mage Wall is a skill prone to be used for glitching and exploiting map favorable spots aka known as "Cliff Hangers".

As stated in your thread, Yea this is a way to kill it solo, as a mage, but benefit from the Cliff Hanger portion of that map area.

As a Ranger user, this Mini Boss is middium difficulty if you ask me since its movement ratio is higher than most mobs IE Silt also has a fast movement ratio.

As a personal opinion and question, can you kill S. Road without using a Cliff Hanger mode?

If so please proof me wrong xD. I been having hard arguments with the Pinoy community as they glitch the fk out of G. Skell on the Cliff Hanger area(separete area where there are no mobs), and call themself super pro and OP because of this.

I use this super high mp cost combo and basically skill s. roar in 5 seconds.

Note 1:This method is mainly for lvl 70 or up, why mainly? Coz imma lvl 69 storm mage xD

Note 2:The effect of this combo will be better if using M. device due to the fact that M. device do x2 dmg with impact

Smash→Impact(smite)→(random skill without charging)+Impact(manually tapping the spell)

Smash is just starting the spell, Impact does over 10k dmg for me, and s. roar should be tumbled. After that combo a random skill like sonic wave hard hit astute etc to make the mp cost of impact lower, finally a normal impact blow to finish my business.

This works surprisingly well but≠xtal for dayz, still have a hard time farming it

And this method applies to most of the miniboss, ok im getting off topic now.

 

I'm using smash > impact (smite) > throwing dagger with magic device after lv70 update too.
Mostly, it will do 1 hit kill. If it's not, just using combo again.

Throwing dagger wont be activated.
It's for closing smite combo without consuming extra MP (read smite description).

Nope, pure int

i still remember how i used to deal w sroar before lv 70 skill
assault attack > wall smite > arrow smite > mp charge
assault attack > wall smite > mp charge

 

hahaha i used to use assult but it misses alot... with holy fist... arrows are like nuclear bombs for s.roar

 

Strange.with this updates.. i can hit roar with 1 storm only,i just watch him die after casting. May God Bless his soul
