Step 2: add cdmg+1 (modify 4 times, each time adding +1, to end with cdmg+5)(3pot left)

No, its currently impossible to add atk+7% plus any other +7% to armor.
Unless if you want 4 negatives.

We are currently limited to only being able to add a total of 6 items.
If you want atk+% on your armor, you're limited to:
Atk+7%, cdmg+7%, 4negatives
Atk+7%, cdmg+10, c-rate+10, 3negatives
Atk+4%, cdmg+7%, c-rate+10, 3negatives
Atk+5%, stat+7%, c-rate+10, 3negatives

I+5, I+7%, m+7%
Original element, element+10%, matk+7%,
NonOriginal element, element+10%, matk+2%

Elemental adding is simple
Step 1: add all the negatives at once
Step 2: add everything else at once.

I+5,I+7%,m+7%
Step : add int+1%
Step 2: add int+1
Step 3: add hpNaturalRecovery-7%, def-7%, dodge-7 (all at once)
Step 4: add/modify int+5, int+7%, matk+7% (all at once)

 

This help a lot for a new BS to modify

Can you help me start from the basic calculation and penalty and how it work ? .... so that we BS can figure it out how to modify arm etc on future update.

There must be a secret on how a modification work

Its simple, but confusing/frustrating to explain.
I'll try my best, hopefully you'll understand.

You receive a penalty multiplier when adding from the same category.
("Number of items in the same category" squared, multiplied by 5)
2=20%, 3=45%, 4=80%, 5=125%, 6=180%, 7=245%, 8=320%, 9=405%, 10=500%
*Potential is always rounded down (example: 10.5=10pot)
*Do note that multipliers can work for or against you.

Using i7% m7% (armor) as an example:
Minimum Potential Needed: 35

Step 1: add matk+2%, acc-1 (both at the same time)[1pot left]
*35pot to start, matk+2% uses 40pot, acc-1 gives 6pot.
*35+6-40=1

Step 2: add acc-7, acc-3%, atk-7%, p.pierce-3% (all at the same time)[248pot left]
*acc-6 gives 36pot, acc-3% gives 36pot, atk-7% gives 42pot, p.pierce gives 36pot.
*acc & acc% = 20%, atk% & p.pierce% & matk% = 45% (65% total)
*36+36+42+36=150x0.65=97+150=247+1=248

Step 3: add/modify int+7%, matk+7% (both at the same time)[-32pot=100% success]
*matk+5% uses 100pot, int+7% uses 70pot
*65% penalty carried over
*100+70=170x0.65=110+170=280-248=-32

so i tried to stat an adventurer's garb in multiple steps for better results and totally failed =(-.-)=
first i added aggro -1%, HP +10, AGI +1.
the success was 100% and i had 9 pot left.
then i tried to increase the stats using the remaining pot, but it said that i can't add any more abilities and i couldn't edit the existing stats either...
how can you do multiple steps when everything gets locked after the 1st step?

 

You need to unlock 6 statting
