Spears and the forum

Speaking of mages and weapon types, why tf do mages get to use maces? warriors need to get large slow swinging maces with massive dps tbh

That would be nice .. I'd like to see a sword a full Mage can use also enabling high attk and staff magic..

 

If the weapon is called Spear it'll probably be added to the forum as Spearman and if it's called Lance as Lancer.
Dragoon is too Final Fantasy-rip off and the Hard Penetrator is too large.

I hope for STR 1 = ATK +4, some Flee and Hit Rate.

Spear may likely be like 2h, where you can only equip main (no sub)..
If they allowed sub on spear.. I'd complain... let 2h be able to equip sub weapon!!! *rawr*

i like them to call javelin but unfortunately i think they don't throw there spears(i wish there's a skill for this)

Lances are used IF you're on a mount (horse, peco-peco, dragon, etc.), basically its just a spear and you're on a rideable animal. Spearman would sound somewhat boring, how about Amazon (based on DC and Greek/Roman mythology) or Paladin (in most games, they used those things as a main weapon)?


Note: since a spear is actually a poke stick with a sharp end, it maybecome a 1handed in the future. Ragnarok Online's spears are actually 1handed, allowing the player to equip a shield. (Im guessing you can only use shield as a sub and nothing else if thats the case :/)

 

U forgot RO has both 1h and 2h spear :/

 

Oh yeah XD Still, I knew some people who would still use 1h than 2h spears because it gives more benefits (being able to wear the mirror shield, along with the other reflection boosting cards)

Hmm.. for a change it would be nice if they make it both 1h and 2h

Like if you wore it with a sub, the damage lowers like of a 1h

And if you wore it w/o sub, damage would be like of a 2h

Would be cool though
