Just curious about tank like modifications for weapon like def%mdef% up? Are they completely not possible or just limited that Boss Drops would overall be better suited?

    Def+7%, mdef+7%, p.resist+7%, m.resist+7%
All 4 of these cost 140pot each (when being added on weapon).
At most you'll be able to add +7%, and +4%.

All weapons that drop from monsters/bosses, which originally have elements, are classified as original elemental weapons.

Let's take Mace of Destruction for an example.
Since MoD is originally a dark elemental staff, it'll cost 10pot to add dark element, to a player crafted MoD.
However, if you were to add light element (non-original element), to a MoD, it'll cost 100pot.

You must use an Empress Bowgun.

    Adding original element
    Minimum Potential: 40
Step 1: add mdef-7%, dodge-7 (both at the same time)(124pot left)
Step 2: add element, element+10%, atk+7%, c-rate+10 (all at the same time)(-16=100% success)

No, there's currently not enough potential.

    Hello wyrix
For the cEEE7%crit.dmg weapon formula, isn't it a bit wrong, like:
    1. In step 1 the crit.dmg +1% would less 10 pot but why did it less 11 pot
    2. In step 7 the end pot should have been -3?
    since [30(from m.def-2% to -7%)+42(from dodge -7)-60(from crit.dmg+1% to +7%)-15(from crit.dmg+5 to +10)]*1.8(4 items from crit category=80% penality) =-5(round down), so end pot --> 2+(-5)=-3
    3. In step 7, the success rate would fail as based on the formula of --> 130-[(ending pot * 230)/available pot], so in Step 7, using step 7 ending pot as ending pot and step 6 as available pot, it would be a 0% (-330%) chance of success
    Working :
    130-[(ending pot * 230)/available pot]
    =130-[( 4 * 230)/ 2 ]
    =130 - 460
    = -330

It was a typo, should've been "Minimum Potential: 27

Yes, but this was due to the error above^^

This is one of the few special formulas were the success calculation don't work. (I took shortcuts)
I remade the formula to be understood more easily.

    Minimum Potential: 27
    Step 1: add cdmg+1%(11pot left)
Step 2: add cdmg+1 (modify 4 times, each time adding +1 cdmg, to end with cdmg+5)[2pot left]
    Step 3: add c-rate+1(1pot left)
    Step 4: add c-rate+1%, mdef-7%(75pot left)
Step 5: modify c-rate% 9 times, each time adding +1% c-rate, to end with c-rate+10%(66pot left)
Step 6: modify c-rate 9 times, each time adding +1 c-rate, to end with c-rate+10(57pot left)
    Step 7: add/modify dodge-7, cdmg+10, cdmg+7%(all at the same time)[-3pot=100% success]

Hi Wyrix! Thanks for this guide! I just have a question about Anniv Items - I got a bunch of items with 29 pot and I'm planning to turn them into elemental weapons - I assume I can't right? Since the original property of the anniv items is neutral?

    Thanks!

Due to the fact they're neutral weapons (non-original), it'll cost 100pot to add elements.
Edit: which weapon/stats are you looking to add? I can help come up with formulas/success rates.

    If you can please do.
I want to create an element, element 10%, Atk% and Crate 10 if possible. I'm guessing success rates are very low for this.

    Ele, ele+10%, atk+%, c-rate+10
    Adding non-original element
    Using Potential: 29
Step 1: add hpRec-7%, def-7% (all at the same time)(113pot left)
Step 2: add element, element+10%, c-rate+10, atk+% (all at the same time)
    *atk+7%=-117=0% success
    *atk+6%=-107=0% success
    *atk+5%=-97=0% success
    *atk+4%=-87=0% success
    *atk+3%=-77=0% success
    *atk+2%=-67=0% success
    *atk+1%=-57=13% success

Here's other options with higher success rates:

    Ele, ele+10%, c-rate+10
    Adding non-original element
    Minimum Potential: 16
    Step 1: add hpRec-7%, def-7%, dodge-7 (all at the same time)(142pot left)
Step 2: add element, element+10%, c-rate+10 (all at the same time)(-18=100% success)

    Ele, ele+10%, atk+%
    Adding non-original element
    Using Potential: 29
    Step 1: add hpRec-7%, def-7%, dodge-7 (all at the same time)(155pot left)
Step 2: add element, element+10%, atk+% (all at the same time)
    *atk+7%=-65=33% success
    *atk+6%=-55=48% success
    *atk+5%=-45=63% success
    *atk+4%=-35=78% success
    *atk+3%=-25=92% success
    *atk+2%=-15=100% success
