(dw vs swordfu) who is a better boss soloer?

As the topic suggests, i want to know which one is a better soloer?

Please comment down below, which one u prefer and why ?

I vote DS/DW.
As bk already said phantom & shadow can help u avoid red zones.
I will add:
-Cross parry can tumble & guard/reduce an enemies red zone or normal attack. If u successfully reduce the dmg of an enemy atk u can get a buff that boost ur atk & aspd.
-Reflex is longer if ur a DS & gives u evasion and u can combo it with flash for the extra dmg.
-Shadow for reposition/avoid linear aoes & also for ampr/crate.
-Phantom can make u invulnerable after the 1st 2 hits of the skill & also the chance to inflict freeze.

 

I prefer DW, because i truly enjoy it more than fu variants.

 

I prefer dw as it's more fun to play imo

I choose DW, coz, I have no Sword-fu chars. =') My other acct's DW has Sneak Attack for getting less aggro + Save MP bank, am I fired? xP

 

Both can solo well. Swordfu will need to normal atk more than dw coz they replenish mp slower. Whereas dw just do 1 normal atk and could get 1mp bar back. So dw will get to spam much more. That's all. Unless your talking about normal mode bosses. But if you want to go solo bosses.. At least nightmare mode is the minimal level you should challenge.

I think it's an overall more balanced character. I don't think DWs can do crazy damage of fu builds or MSS as crazily as a sword fu, but DW's higher flee, increased evasion chance, cross parry (manual guard) and shadowstep (manual dodgeroll) allows decent survivability on the right players.

 

Honestly on my POV,both are good for solo but here's the thing, dw would excel in long time soloing since it does only decent dmg,fu variants however can't take much hits as it is and should focus on killing boss as quick as possible, therefore in safe wise and certainty of success, dw wins

if by better you mean offensively, swordfu does tons faster kills than DW...mp wont be much of a problem if you use shell break anywaysz...
defensively id say DW cos dodge, eva and the other gimmicky stuff...

 

Dw solo better imo. Really the question is dw vs brawlers though
