    If Asobimo keeps their promise then pets will come this week or the next, if you take their support break into account its this week or next week on Wednesday (the holiday for their support is on Thursday.)

    Well even when the pets system comes out I doubt boss/miniboss pets will be available at the same time, and when they come out it will be orbs required.
