why do ppl scam? why did they do it? why can't we all just hv a nice gamelife?

 

Cuz not everyone is as cool as we are

 

Without scammers and bad guys in toram it would get dull fast, we just have to teach people to be more keen when in the presence of one or when they are being targeted for as a hit ^^

 

it's like someone scammed someone's xtal and then the person who get scammed will scam to back what he got scammed and the one who got scammed from the scammer that got scammed will scam too etc :v

The best thing about toram is that you can pick your self back up again.. It's not right to be hurt like that,game or no game it hurts angers, your being hoodwinked it sucks, but to rise above an wisen up you can't get hurt very easily anymore.. Gotta be aware of yur surroundings , keen on detail and on point..then we can make those slick fuks eat their own con..

 

Good and bad people exist both real life and virtually, an MMORPG without scammers is sadly only an ideal.

Because they believe they can get away with it...
People have a diminished sense of responsibility for their actions and words online (hence u get alot of hate speech and group think)
So long as they think it benefits them and they can get away with it, they will do it.
They are typically poorly adjusted in real life too...

 

MMORPG is a reflection of life, its not all peaches and rainbows. You can't just grab a rose cos it's purty, you need to watch out for the thorns. Such the same can be said to trading, ya need to watch out for scammers. And be cautious always when trading.

 

Toram = scammers, poser, fake people, hackers
Real world = scammers, thieves, murderer, criminals, fake people etc

meaning to say be careful and dont give your full trust to strangers same as the real world. Be wise and deal with all the negatives
Never been scammed and never have scammed

 

Look at the brightside; not everybody is a scammer. And every body including the scammers don't like to be scammed. You can't judge a rose by the size of its thorns. As i said, its merely a reflection of life and not the whole picture, players get opportunistic if you just let them be.
Its a small part of your story as a player in toram. Some console rpg storyline include the main protagonist being mugged(thank god that is not available in toram), robbed, harrased etc. But the main char still rise up and win it all.

Last time i checked, our char got killed by the ecb and its going to heaven(SPOILER!)

Welp just don't do slotting/extract service to anyone you don't trust...
Especially those "FREE" slotting/extract (pfft~ so obvious)

Double check traded items...
There are times where they would swap items in the second or third trade...
Take your time never do quick trades

Never lend any valuable items to those you can't trust

Since we can't view equip appearance beware of trades for equip apps

Board items might be a bit expensive but what-you-see-is-what-you-get (99.99% foolproof)

And last...
There's no 100% trustworthy person unless you know them irl and you can beat-em-up to return/reimburse scammed items (*WARNING* due to cultural differences this may or may not apply)

There's a lot more creative ways to scam and there's no one to blame but yourself for being naive, impulsive, etc.
