okay I decided to start out again on the basis of really getting into the storyline.
And I realized after completing the story up until it's current stopping point, accompanied by side quests (with minor farming happening due to some of those side quests), it's easy for newer players to reach up to lvl 40-45 depending if they do side quests, in less than three days. I am wondering if at this rate toram might end up slowing down with players if it's this easy to level?
I guess it just comes from my experience of lvling being much different.
I played runey back in the day, and I remember it took months before I managed lvl 30 and that was with farming and fighting.
i am just curious if it's too easy and might cause boredom.
I'm good cause yeah. I like to farm. I find that I love farming the new map more. Particularly the caves cause of the music for that map.

I was really looking for the end of your ) XD
But that aside, most of my old guildies got tired of the game because there is really nothing to do, so a good 80% of them dropped out.
Mind you, current players feel this way too, myself included. The reason why I stayed this long is because I joined a community and forums! Other players keep it interesting for me tbh, not the game itself.
Long story short : I agree, it's getting boring because there are not many side things to do other than farming and maze.

    Lol oops
Wow, that's really saying something.but yeah, I agree with the right people it can work.
A good community for any mmo is always first in my book because it will keep people around.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on that. There really isn't really much content to the game. :/
    ...
BTW, what is the plot? I can't really recall... -_-'

It starts with the dragon, you greet it as you first start since you pretty much run away. Then you run into a brother and sister as they train and the sister gets hit and you end up helping them on some missions, one of the turning points is the mino since it involves the premier gem (hope I spelt it right.) in which a group wanting to study it has a stubborn subordinate that takes it from the statue. The dragon is briefly seen as it broke the seal on the mino. In the end you find the dragon and fight it with the brother and sister. This story ends with piano thanking you, and you go on the next one which is currently about the holy gems. Your trying to find information, and stop at scaro speaking to this woman that looks like an elf, dressed in a long black dress. Then the knight story is where you save the kid from a monster and you sorta meet the brother and sister again.
If I can guess the next part of the story we might end up getting permission to come into the town as the child is from a Noble family.

i'm slowly getting bored but it's the friends i make that keeps me coming back and i never capped yet either lol (the last stretch takes foreverrrr and i've completed my main quest). grinding and farming with randoms are no fun, it's better when u do it with a group of people you know :D
and the fact that there's that unattainable wings to complete my awesome mage outfit. i don't think i can farm for 5+ hours with randoms.

Too bad Toram's sidequests has nothing to do with it's story. 2 main things for a game to me is story n gameplay, with Iruna besting Toram in storyline (obviously, Toram has better gameplay)

It's still pretty fresh to me.. esp since I'm the kind that restarts my char over and over to find the best set of skills that fit my play style per char.. I'm probably still pretty new I guess, started in July 2015

I started in July too Samm, but the game is dying out honestly. That 2million downloads, if from people redownloading and unistalling the game + the dev's themself autodownloading and unistalling the game aswell + companys that provide the down+uni service.

I do hope that 2 million downloads are genuine players.. that's really bad if it's true esp since there could be players who have alternate accounts like I do (I play for my wife(she occasionally helps me with bosses when she feels like it), I think that counts as an alt.. so maybe only 1 Mil players? I do hope more content can be churned out.. I wonder if thats why they made arco, haotas map mobs so much tougher compared to the mobs we've been used to

Real numbers as player base would be around 100k or 150k no more than that. 2million player base, is a bulls exaggeration. Not for a game with only 2-3 months. The alpha layout only reported 13k players in the game, so 2million is a huge freaking bs.
Anyways, if Aso doesn't do something soon, more players will keep quitting. But nothing we can do, problem about games, if you deliver an incomplete product, you burn out the player base before you can achieve the games full potential.

The main problem with Toram is that Asobimo is following the same formula as they did with Iruna.
When Iruna came out it also had weary few maps and limited stuff to do, today Iruna is one of the more major mobile mmos and asobimo thinks they'll be able to achieve the same with toram.
Problem is Iruna came out when there were almost no other 3d mmos, nowadays there are tons of those around so that might not work out as they hoped.

I feel you bro, let's just hope toram gets built up at a good pace (maybe with pvp to fuel more in game competition and spice up the game play while pve content takes its time to come in)
Agreed. I enjoyed iruna, but left it when my son came into the world (papa duties). The exp grind was a chore, and alot of people went on bots. With toram I see a versatile game play, allowing for customisation of char, equips etc. Alot of potential. But if content comes out so slowly, our interests will die out (I'm wondering if that's why they are decreasing the drop rates to prolong game play and farming)

Either players give up on toram cos content is slow, or drop rates too hard and long to get (minus the hard core effort giving players)

Thats so true, funny thing is How long it took them to provide Iruna to English users. Iruna was out since 2008 in Japan, it only came to be to the US till 2013, thats fuked up.
Which means they had 5 years of content already prepared for the US market, just slowly provided it and killed half the player base.
If they plan to kill their player base with toram, I hope they ready to lose a lot fo revenue.

Damn I Dint know iruna was out in 2008. They better not do the same to toram! Give us content at the same pace with Japan!

Japan had other OS's before Android even existed. Most their games used to be played on those OS's and still being played on them. Remember Japan is different from the rest of the world. They have gundams, Eva's, Fafnirs, and Pokemos xD.

Anyways, yea, Iruna was a DOCOMO exclusive game in 2008, then it expanded to Symbian and Rex, and so on till it was available in Android and iOS.
What took so long to port to Android was the coding to ruby on rails(which is what they mostly use there). Anyways.

We will sadly see Toram die little by little as new cames come out. And the player base get diminished slowly.

the thing about people getting laid off is that there's nothing to do on toram other than plvl. ya maze is there, ya there's that, but they just lack variation or side activities. especially for me, who has been playing since May, it's getting tedious. but to keep you in game, you do need friends because toram is group orientated.

Oh man, I do hope that doesn't happen. Summary of discussion: bring out the new content devs!!!
Or another way to do it is all of us take a 2-3 month break playing every other game and coming back to toram layer haha

My break from iruna cos of my son's birth let me experience iruna like a newbie (I was lvl 151 and seeing how 'low level' I was made me feel all newbie again haha)
