I see, will test it out later with my luk mage.
Though its true if you are not a str or dex bs taking luk instead of tech you will miss out a lot of success rate even if you are able to get 1 slotted every 3 crafts it wont be good if all of them failed.

Tested it there was absolutely no increase in slot rate with luck.
That info about 80% chance is fake

 

Whew.. narrowly avoided a whole new meta of Dex/luck Blacksmiths lol

 

I'm building a blksmith for staff creation. I currently have 165 INt and 75 tech. Char lev is 84. My pot for creation is 65 now. How do I get higher potentials on creation. Am I building this right. I'm only getting 36 pot on weapons how can I increase this.
Please help.

 

You need to increase more int.
Try to reset and make 240-250 int and 40+tech or else just keep lvling and increase int till you reach 230int
10int=+1pot for crafting so with 165int you will only gain extra 16pot.

 

So Dex is for bows and like str is for 1hs? Does pot automatically add when a item is successful? How do you get a successful item, like I was lvl 50 and wasn't successful with a lvl 1 item.

 

STR Is for 2H. Dex can do Bows / Bowguns and 1H. Pot doesn't add when it's successful. You would get the same pot even if your prof lvl raises. Pot raises based on stats and stats are based on your level.

Pot raises by 1 for each 20 Dex stats. And like always you can raise your stats by leveling up your character.
20 Dex = 1 pot
40 Dex = 2 pot

Are you saying your prof level is 50 or your actual level?

This is so confusing . i have no idea what is all this i wana make one to blacksmith or synthesise they both one or totally different types .

 

this guide is very detailed and well explained tho. Maybe try to start one and u will c and understand what's written down here.

 

For Halberd BS go statwise str first then agi (1pot for every 20 agi)

I do not understand the first part, how do I have to choose a skill tree?

I have to choose a skill tree? I want to make armor, do I have to choose a tree and upar her skills?

 

The only skill you need is blacksmith skills. in the blacksmith skill tree, you want to max everything. If you want to make armor be a VIT based blacksmith. the process can be harder than other blacksmiths depending on the methods you use.
