    Minmaxing in a Perfect Toram

Hopefully this doesn't trigger anyone like it did yesterday, but:

Say if you were in a perfect world, where everything was guaranteed. Quick Draw 100% chance to restore mana? Yes. Shell Break 100% to Armor Break? You got it. 100% critical chance and accuracy and stability? You can have it all.

What would be the most ideal class in the game then?

It seems from some discussion that the Fu classes would fare the best. But, which Fu class? Or maybe proration is the way to go? Can someone help do the math needed for this? C:

    Rules are:
    • consider damage only (no need to worry about health and ailments, because technically if it were a perfect world, you'd have 100% chance to dodge or guard)
    • Everything that is chance related is guaranteed. Basically anything that has a percentage. Chance to tumble, chance to stun, etc.
    • Damage percentages are not changed. All damage is the same, except you have the luxury of knowing that Heavy Smash does max damage constantly because Armor Break is 100% via Shell Break. Also, this kinda makes Triple Kick's crit chance not needed, but the people in Shoutbox say that it still is one of the strongest skills.
    • Make sure to consider all possibilities! This is a perfect world! Anything can work, but try to minmax the perfect class! Would prorating be necessary if you hit max damage with Heavy Smash at all times? Does Heavy Smash out damage prorating? Or does prorating beat skill spammers? Or would you mix both and do a prorating skill spammer? Or maybe you have a self-prorating skill spammer that prorates with skills and not auto attacks?
    • [NEW] Feel free to calculate for specific scenarios like certain bosses and/or minibosses. This is merely just a simulation. Preferably, it would be nice if you just calculated the damage on paper against something that didn't attack and had no bonus stats except infinite health (a sandbag).
Thanks for reading! Looking forward to the ideas put forth c:

Please no hate! If you don't like the prospect of a perfect world with no chances of failure, you don't have to provide your input. This is only for the people who are willing to be creative and imaginative.

Made a little addendum to the rules. Try to stay away from Toram's conventional standards. This isn't trying to be built for current Toram. It's built for a perfect Toram c:

Wait wut? People think that the most ideal build in a perfect toram world are Fu builds? #areU4Real o_O

If we have 100% proc on interrupts, then a build around using a swifted Storm should be the best isn't it? DoT + Interrupts + Burst physical damage skills should be the ideal build.

Why do you say that? What are interrupts used for other than breaking?

There's 5 ways to interrupt based on what i've seen on this game, knock back, flinch, tumble, stun, and sleep. Out of all these, the most reliable is tumble and stun. Tumble interrupts the target for 2 seconds while Stun does it for as long as 3 seconds. Meanwhile, Casting Storm takes less than 2 seconds with Cspd over 750 when equipped with staff, so in theory, if you have 1k+ cspd, you can cast Storm while the target is stunned or is getting up/ recovering from a tumble, even if you aren't equipping a staff.

Shuffling between the two interrupts, you can do burst dmg skills like triple kick, Sunrise Arrow, Shellbreak+Heavy Smash Strike Stab in every 5 seconds.

I wouldn't say Infinite Stunning, Since All bosses Have a Stun, Flinch,Tumble,Knock back,Shield Bash and Sleep Cooldown.

@kariin @DeQuantum please move this thread to off-topic as toram isn't a perfect world and I don't see the relevance to the general discussion in here (at least I don't think its on its place in general discussions, I might be wrong of course)

Also @Lilia sorry to break it to you but toram isn't a perfect world and thus I don't see why you should bother to think about it

EDIT: if 100% a perfect world then I would have optimal gears and 1-hit kill bosses and don't even bother about max dmg cuz their health is low anyway; and I would have quitted Toram since it would be soo boring:p

Max DPS heh? Whether its a perfect world or the usual setup, a max DPS in my opinion no matter what's your class build( recomended/hybrid) is a toon who knows how to counter elements (weapons/skills/buffs/gems)

I have to respectfully disagree with you on moving this thread to Off-Topic and here is my reason why:
(Before I go any further, please note that while that will seem like backseat moderating, I am not trying to usurp the position of a mod or trying to tell them what to do; I'm just stating my opinion in response to his. The mods we have are qualified enough to determine which one of us is right or wrong.)

The topic in question is still relevant to the game. The question asked is which class would be the strongest under optimal conditions.
Granted, optimal conditions are like fairy tales, but topics like these give some form of information about the meta (which class fails to be the strongest and why, which class makes the best use of conditions, etc) and incentivize creativity.

Also, I would like to note that she is well-aware that the perfect world doesn't exist.

But you make a point: a game where everyone has to play that class for the best results and everything else is garbage would be plain boring.

    BK.
The best will be staff fu, because of the high atk+cdmg over the fus and they have the 3rd+1st strongest skill at their disposal, can use my current combo, impact, hs smite, sb save, tk smite, smash con, infinite hs+tk dmg

More like paladin in iruna... 1hit 70% of the bosses...just swap hp equips and Can easily reach 200k hp... Aggro hogger... Passives and buffs to shrug off any dmg... And its on legit equips no hacks

Back to topic i think bg sniper on max prof+max stability+max crit dmg+0 cast time... Imagine full dmg set with no need of C.Rate...

Sniper IMO they most hindered by crit and stability RNG and with both of those gone they'd be doing massive dmg with nothing to stop them but poration which everyone is affected by

While I certainly do get your point as well I just don't get why it has relevance to the game. The game doesn't have optimal world/conditions and because of that I don't see the reason to even discuss about it ; I mean; we don't talk about what if we had a 6th class at general discussions, though it might have relevance to the game (this is of course different if the mods would actually implent a 6th class). These are also fixed ideas/fantasies which aren't bad; its just that I don't see the relevance of them being into general discussions. Theory is good, but it has to be appliable to, in this case, a game. If not then it would, at least in the way I view it, usually consider fantasies/ideas. The only relevance it has to the game is that it uses the game toram as an example. In my opinion that's like talking about an apple pie when you cover fruits. (Then again it depends on how you view things; I view that as being off-topic while someone else might view it as being a way to use a fruit, thus making it not off-topic). Everything is related to one and each other in some sort of way.

Then again I don't see the need of going into this discussion even furthe, we both stated our opinions in a respectful way, or at least that's how I view it :D. It's in the end up to the mods to decide :)

Ima have to agree with bk here, since u have 100%crate, staff fu would outdps everything, , high atk+ high cdmg, only other classes that could compete would be 2h and halberd, snipers n mages would be left in the dust

If we go in the direction of purely dps, md's CAN outdps everything. :v

An ideal world would have to be where MDs has a significantly higher weapon atk cap, 100%stab, and Concentrate would proc 100%, Crit 100%, and we can max out int dex and agi. The focus of skills will be Storm for DoT, and Impact(md has bonus damage with this skill), Holy Fist and Holy Light for burst dmg. In addition, max stats MD characters will have very high cspd and aspd, so every thing will be executed very fast too.

Nah uh , unfortunately md's cap at 80% stability when using magic, it's not that it would not work in a perfect world but thats just how the system was designed ,and also md's storm is relatively weaker than staff because staff's storm gets a 100% bonus dmg.
I admit though mages would have a chance when concentrate procs 100% of the time.
