It'd still be a gamble even if you have 1 pot extra -

    Adding non-original element
    Minimum Potential: 55
    Step 1: add hpRec-7%, mdef-7%, dodge-7 (181pot left)
    Step 2: add element, ele+12%, cdmg+%
    *cdmg+7%=-49=67%
    *cdmg+6%=-39=80%
    *cdmg+5%=-29=93%

Hello, i need help on the calculations for the following recipes:
    Weapon:
    Atk/Str+7%, Crit dmg+7%, crit dmg+12, crit rate+x
For a weapon with pot of 56, what is the max amt of crit rate i can put while still having a decent success rate? (>50%)
    Armor:
    Atk/Str+7%, Crit dmg+7%, crit dmg+12, crit rate+x
Likewise with an armor of pot 58

    Thanks!

These are basically on the first page, using crit rate as an adjuster won't make much of a difference from these given success rates because it's only 1pot consumption. You can substitute atk% and cdmg%, i.e. The stat for atk7%cdmg3%cdmg12crit12 is the same as atk3%cdmg7%cdmg12crit12, just change the cdmg to increase at the end instead of atk.

Hey, doing both armor and weapon, what's minimum potential I need to do:
    Atk7%cdmg12crit12crit12%
Aggro -10% for one of the two penalties--not too picky the other (probably HP regen?)

What are chances with 44pot wpn, 55pot arm?

Atk with full crit is not possible on armor with the current potential.

    Weapon 44pot
    Step 1: add cdmg+12 (8pot left)
    Step 2: add crit+1% (7pot left)
    Step 3: add crit+1, aggro-10%, mpRec-7 (92pot left)
Step 4: modify crit 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12 (81pot left)
Step 5: modify crit% 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12% (70pot left)
    Step 6: add atk+7% (-31=28% success)

What about stat7% full crit for the armor?

For wpn--any penalty to get it higher? mpReg%? Dodge? matk?

Would stat7% be easier than atk7%?

    1. You can find stat7%full crit for armor on the first page of this guide.
    2. No, it's because you're replacing the usual negatives & penalties to add potential to the weapon, with aggro which give much lower potential return than hp/dodge negatives.
    3. Stat% & Atk% have the same potential cost, the other option to raise success is to lower the % attack you want to use.

    For example:
    Weapon 44pot
    Step 1: add cdmg+12 (8pot left)
    Step 2: add crit+1% (7pot left)
    Step 3: add crit+1, aggro-10%, mpRec-7 (92pot left)
Step 4: modify crit 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12 (81pot left)
Step 5: modify crit% 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12% (70pot left)
    Step 6: add atk+7% (-31=28% success)
    *atk+6% (-17=74% success)
    *atk+5% (-2=100% success)

    Edit: added calculations, phone froze

Not on purpose. Any weapons or armor you see without negatives are gambled stats that fail but luckily what's lost are negative stats.

I know. Meant stat full crit with -aggro instead of dodge. Trying to figure chance of success at 55pot

    Pot55 armor
    Step 1: add cdmg+12 (19pot left)
    Step 2: add crit+1% (18pot left)
    Step 3: add crit+1, matk-7%, aggro-10% (103pot left)
Step 4: modify crit 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12 (92pot left)
Step 5: modify crit% 11 times, each time adding +1, to end with crit+12% (81pot left)
    Step 6: add stat+7%(-20=71%)
    *stat6% (100%)

No but the types of negatives that are used for most common types of stats, are opposing or unnecessary. Take for example: im7 armor. The negatives are accuracy & attack/phys pierce. Magic doesn't require accuracy & rely on matk not attack for damage. Essentially rendering these stats useless & better off as a negative to add potential. There is usually a method to the madness.
