    How many times can you use a piercer item? (I cannot find a thread for this. If there is one already please direct me to it. So sorry for the inconvenience.)

    When you obtain a piercer it's given to you individually not by bulk. You'll know if you can use that piercer multiple times if the number by it says more than "1" of that piercer.

    you can only use a piercer item once. you need to have to correct piercer to pierce something. ie if you want to pierce a bowgun, you'll need to find a bowgun piercer, if you want a 2nd hole added then you need the one that can pierce a 2nd hole.
