OK. So I have multiple crafter toons on my account. One for INT, one For Vit, one for Dex, and of course a LUK and TEC refiner.

I've had no issues with the whole "leveling" of the Alchemist/Tec to get alchemy up to about 240ish (so far). And it does appear that at some point there is a diminished return on the whole "crafting above your proficiency level to level up proficiency quicker" idea. I, being a new player, did Revita V's out of the gate the first time to find that I got a whopping 224% XP from an entire load of Flower Nectar. Lesson learned (this is a ton less than you would get if you did rev II, III, IV, then V in order of about 20 levels difficulty higher than your proficiency???)

So then, like all learned players I stopped wasting huge amounts of mats on my alchemist and wasted just a few, and tried to keep within the level cap for earning xp above the difficulty for the level proficiency you are. I am still new, though, and don't really know where this bridge between "the best XP" and the "least wasted mats" is. Is it 10, 20, 30 levels higher? Does anyone know? Is there a guide out there?

And of course the reason I am asking is not for the alchemist class. But rather so I can learn where I need to put TEC up on my other crafting classes to get the most XP for crafted items. Because, let's face it, it would be a complete nightmare grindfest to try to attempt to take one toon up to level using things under your difficulty(4% or less each item? Ouch). Much less five. 14-20% per item is a loads better than 1-4%

I mean, I get the easy way is to pop tec up to 255 (or whatever) and craft the highest level you can, then pay real money to swap your stats over to the one you want to craft for. But I was really attempting to do this FTP. If that means I have to level the toons up to level 105, that isn't as bad as spending $45 real money just to swap over some stats to avoid the grind.

Also, since the stats only need to be 250, that saves me 2.5 levels right there, I guess, so that is good. More Tec can be added that way, sooner.

Anyway, if there is a guide for this level difference XP limit, or if anyone knows off the top of their head, I would be most appreciative of the information. Thanks!

tec only gives higher success rate
if u want more proficiency raised for crafting items, u have to spam items which the item lvl is higher, equal, or slightly lower than your current prof lvl. Spam items w higher item lvl than ur prof if possible, will increase ur prof by more than 20% per craft

craft items close to your diff level, otherwise, u won't earn as much. so start from the bottom up, not just go straight to the top
