Which is BETTER? DW or SwordFu?

So profound jdx , I wonder if you've ever tried partying w/ the event in game? Are you even aware that classes can spam now without losing too much dps on proration? There are also a new meta in dps-ing now which consists of not spamming long combos but rather uses brief comboes now and using ampr inbetween comboes. But you are probably not aware because you're stuck up on ranting instead of testing out new ways to dps.
Everyone is informed about proration now as compare to the last few years and only a handful are still stuck up on spamming. Even my arrow mage learned to coordinate and not spam too much to help physical class dps too.

Lol uncleJD tank holding aggro is their job if they cant hold aggro they are useless (at least thats what the community thinks)
While DPS doing damage is their job but they cant if some spammer steals it while they are busy prorating. So its okay to blame spammers when they spam but not when tanks lose aggro as some classes even if they dont spam they got high aggro in general.

Being a good tank and being a good dps is both hard and definitely not easier if some standalone spam moron wants to be a YOLO guy. \(°^°/)

 

Not entirely the spammer's fault , if you are a tank and you lost aggro to a spammer, that means your aggro is not enough or something is wrong w/ your connection.

Also alot of class can dps well despite of spamming namely mages , they can serve as stand alone dps in long runs if you allow them too. Even if there are 3 other mages spamming long comboes on your pt , you wont have to worry about proration since they are mostly using physical skills as fillers for their comboed which makes proration still relatively healthy despite of the spamming.

 

If there's a spammer in the party when I'm supposed to be the tank, I let them die :V
If that doesn't work, then I can always take support rank if they're bent on spamming nonstop ._.

 

Rant Ghost: Yeah true. .but the spammer shouldn't at least put all the blame on tankers.
I mean it's not easy being a tank and updating just to be able to keep up with others.

 

I usually just use provoke and autos as much as I can, but if a member spams and snatching my rank, I might spam a bit too. But after I reset all my skills, they can all spam they want.

Spam is not actually bad depends on the situation. Like a party with 4k aspd DW that will only do auto + a mage that will only use storm + phiscal DPS (bow/spear/2H). Even if the physical DPS is prorating, he/she might find the need to cast the combo that might appears spamming to some. Due to the DW high aspd prorating auto atks, DPS might not need to even auto. And the mage will definitely love that balance of proration.
