I'm not sure what the first sentence is supposed to mean, but I can tell you that DPS is definetly not the best way to survive.

How is it not fair to have a dps only tournament is what I was getting at? Never did it say it was gonna cater to support or tank classes. It's just a dps tournament.

But you're right a dps isn't the best way to survive but tanks can't kill a boss themselves, and if you're a dps that can't fight by yourself and you need to have a tank you're probably not very good at the game to begin with tbh.

But I was saying that if your dps build has 0 survivability and can't stand on its own two feet at higher level bosses then you don't have the best dps build.

DPS builds is truly not the best way to survive but it doesn't mean you can't survive... Making a DPS class doesn't mean going full offensive bursts with only 500hp, Most pro DPS users got their own flavor on how to survive a boss, like combo timing, combo length, hp-dmg proportions, etc..

Heck a full int-dex shield mage can even hold the fort by using a well timed p.def gaining a few seconds of DPS advantage while everybody else is running around evading...

And mind you, real gaming is spending a lot of time studying boss patterns and counters unlike those popular "Game anime" in which the MC is an ultra dodge wiz that can evade every friggin attack thrown at them on the first boss run...

 

Well, that's kinda obvious; you can't deal damage if you're dead, but things like crit rate, crit damage, ATK, etc. don't help at all in terms of survival (unless you can kill your target with incredible speed, and then things like MATK boost healing form bless).

P.S. I'm not sure what you meant to convey by trying to tell me what "real gaming" is, and assuming that I'm some sort of Kirito fanboy trash, but I find it a bit insulting that you would assume that I lack any skill without knowing anything about me or my playstyle.

I have to clear the air on this for my own well being im sure some will have an opinion and thats okay with me this tour was indeed canceled because of my own time abailability, should anyone want to check on weather or not the spinas (around 25m was returned please feel free to contact the players listed in the previous comments to verrify, its taken me weeks to muster up the courrage to come forth and admit my efforts to make a mass tournament like this was a failure and believe me its a strike on my concience to admit iv failed miserably, i had to weigh in my own availability with the fairness to the people looking forward to this event. Best intrest told me to call it before it got too far tbh. Im trulybsorry to everyone iv let down on this and in no way should it reflect on the people im associated with. It was honestly my own mistake and my own personal life that lead me to making the decisions i did. Again everyone involved recived full refunds(and it was a 3-5 day process tracking everyone down) the youtube and everything else was put on hold after registration was closed and the announcement was made by me to pull the plug.. again sorry for the late response on this but i hope you all can understand how mich of a toll iand how much courage it actually took for me to admit publically my own defeat. Another tournament may surface soon but most likely class speciffic with the same rules .. again sorry to all who tried to participate and thank you for trusting me. Till anlther day..
