Current NC Price

The current nc price is ridiculous . there are lot of botter sell with 60k/4 stk, that affect to non botter.
the non botter its hard to find nc and it took 8h-12h++ with full bag of nc.
we should raise the price of nc right now with 90k/4stk . but still the botter will down the price again .
at least we can still sell 80k-85k/4stk .

Note:For botter out there, Please dont be selfish . there's a lot non botter playing normal here . thanks

 

It's the principle of the free market. Players generally have a choice. It is just that the one that gives most players maximum utility is the choice to patronize these low prices as it maximizes their own benefit. It becomes a choice of compete or get out.

From time to time, it makes one think if getting out is the right option. There are only certain areas that these types of players can effectively farm in. Perhaps it would be better to farm materials that they normally can't?

 

i'm with @Sinclaire on this. why not farm something else? ECB for example. do the MQ and you should easily be able to take on ECB. then go to the harder bosses.

 

Nightmare crystal is too famous for its own good. The 300K boost it gives is ridiculously useful, and it became known as an extremely profitable storm mage site. Nowadays, there are better ones (new maps have some great areas for example) but they are lesser known. Ask around - from what I personally have seen, rockasaur and cursed clocks are better for farming (the latter of which may not be true though, in time).

It's because there are so many NC sellers/suppliers that the price is so low. All the competitors compete with each other, so even if a few NC farmers decide "hey! why is nc just 15k a stack?!" the other sellers will still be trying to outdo each other by selling quickly (aka selling cheaper). And then there's the mass number of bots dwelling in that tomb, making the supply even larger.

So yeah, there's nothing we on the forums can do about it. Find other farming spots! The demand for those materials will probably be lower, but at least there's not 20+ channels of people trying to farm it.

 

I visited the Tomb Channels earlier today. I entered and it was already channel 96. There are more people there than in Sofya and Scaro combined twice over.

Another thing to consider is the price per exp. The NC rate is very tough to beat. 1 Spina is essentially 20 EXP. There's not that many many items that give such a great Spina:EXP Ratio (Bitter Nut for example is only 6 EXP per Spina). It would be great if there was an alternative farm site that can compete with the 1:20 ratio.

 

Don't farm NC for EXP. Farm other places for faster spina, and use that to buy NC. It's far, far more time efficient. I spend ~100 minutes a day merchanting and make ~800k, which I could use for 40 NC stacks. I don't get 1 stack/3 minutes in the tombs. (For completeness, I will mention that while I don't spend much time merchanting, I do have to wait many hours for stuff to sell on CB and come on multiple times to check on it. Also the 100 minutes is divided throughout the day).

IMO there are faster ways of getting Spina than storm farming (unless you're botting :/ ). But if you're going to storm farm, do it in places that make more spina/hr, then just buy the NC.

 

farm popular bosses/mini bosses its far less tedious than farming nc... And a lot more fun too, what's the point playing games if your not enjoying it...

 

Yeah, it sucks for non-botters.

Farm something else, honestly. I've made more spina selling boss / non-issue materials then I would have made in the same time farming NC.

And as a NC buyer I never pay over 70k/4 for them. I've leveled so many heros thus way. And sit on an average of 7m spina most days. Moving between 4 to 10m...so

Even though I hate botters, they make the market work for me.

 

Price even lowered to 60k/4stks. If this lowers more, bnut is better then.

The whole concept is based on supply and demand. bots farm a lot of NC, so there's always an excess supply in the market. this means people will compete for the lowest price to get sales. if you sell above the average price just because you didn't bot, sorry, no one will buy from you. this is a fact.

 

Can you give tips on where we can do active Storm Farm that outpaces the NC farm efficiency? Of course, merchanting is an option and is something I do actively. But I'd really love to play Toram Online instead of Sofya Merchant Online.

EDIT: Just in, several merchants selling NC @ 55/4 Stacks in Sofya Merchant Online.

 

the problem would be where can i get spina? by selling? by emblem? scamming? nope..there is no exact sources for the current money to buy such expensive item. im not a botter but for them who made the nc price low thats more better. they made b.nuts 2k per stack that makes my n.wood free give aways to all.

 

its hard for me to get spina now too. Nc(60-65/4), bnut(10-15K/4), revs price drop too,no more anti-deg buyer. maybe back to boss.^^

Just find lesser known ones. I'm not a mage so I probably don't know the best spots. Rockasaurs (lvl. 104) and Cursed Clocks (lvl ~70) I believe both make over NC amount, as long as you have a good party. There's also that one mob near Aranea that sells stacks for 200+k/ea. It's gotten more popular recently though because of some youtube videos.

I'm an archer so I have to farm bosses instead of AOE mini-mobs. When I do farm, I always pick out the bosses who are seldomly farmed. Iconos/York IMO are very overrated. Jade raptor for example makes me over 1m/hr w/o XTAL drops, but it takes a long time to sell on CB and fills up many slots.

 

Well, it seems like NC is really on a downward spiral! Market prices have gone to averaging at 60/4 now. The usual aggressive sellers like TheNext are already selling nonstop at 55/4. It seems like it won't be until the Level Cap Increase Update will NC prices recover. Good for consumers, bad for farmers.
