Guild VS Guild system is a good idea for inovation, but it will pose another problem too. Yeah, people showing off and cursing each other. As always.

Showing off is not really a problem(how is showing off a problem?). Of course people will show off. I mean, what are we going to do with our items and avatars anyway?

People swearing should be able to be blocked.

What I'm trying to say is just let others do their thing.
'Oh there is a guy trying show off his black armor with cool app'(i hate him because he's a show off blah blah).
'Oh this guy is trying to act cool and take the spotlight'.
'Ooh this guy is kirito wanna be'(I hate him because blah blah).
These things are not even an issue to begin with.

Read again, did I even mention that I hate people for showing off? No. It just sad how people play games for simply showing off. I will let them to what they want, and Ill stick to my oldschool thingy, which is playing to have fun. It's just a game anyway.

 

I play toram for fun and to show off too. Showing off had a bad and good ways to do it. But it helps on making players competitive in every game and also boost their will to achieve the things they want.

 

It just feels like you hate someone that shows off cuz of your status. You know, you call them typical kid gamers... oh well.

Welp.. Am one of those who feel good whenever someone praise my fashion (⊃д⊂)... And sometimes i switch chars just to show off my avatar sets

Back on topic:
am looking forward to physical skills for staff (we got maces apps so its not too far fetched) staff-fus are ultra weird only using staffs to auto attack

and as for my wish list, need moaaaar magic trees (i mean katana skills!!! Really?? Aint they tired of their physical shiz) I'd even settle for an offensive alchemist or a summoner class... Or maybe a blood mage wich consumes both hp&mp and magic scales with m.atck+hp consumed.... That way those hp xtals with -resistance can be useful....

 

uh i only use knuckles,and i made it to lvl 100 for the first time. I've been working my ass off since duel weld came out. What about people who only use knuckles and bare fist?

 

Knuckles are receiving no love from Asobimo. I main Brawler class too. I've said it before, Pure brawlers can't use Martial skills to its full potential which is absurd, unlike Fus' that can deal 4x more damage using Martial Skills. Asobimo has long forgotten what they want to do with Knuckle mains, agi is a mess of stat right now. All you need is get more damage, get more crit, other stats are just there to make the game look diverse. I'm quite disappointed on where Asobimo's taking Toram, but, I will keep waiting I guess.

 

Showing off is okay, I always tell people with great char style how cool they were. I always take time to stop and admire how cool other players were, it doesn't matter if he/she is just being arrogant or just want to take the spotlight, I just give their char. compliments. Everybody loves being praised. We love compliments. So, just sit back and admire the style of other people, their fashion and the world around you(in game or irl).


Mage should really have a better skill tree and cooler skill animation. It doesn't need something with over the top animation(not everyone has high end smartphone), it just need to be useful like Storm and Tempest.

 

Showing off can be done in a good or in a bad way. But most of the time they see it in a bad way becoz of their experience on some players that shows off just to brag, be rude & throw insults.

A good example of showing off:
When u try to show off something like ur items, playstyle or build on someone & tell them how hard u work for it of course in a humble way. So they will try to achieve & improve on their own.

A bad example of showing off:
When someone made a wrong info/idea instead of correcting/helping him, u will be rude, throw insults to made him embarrassed becoz of his mistake. Then u show off & brag that u can do this & do that or u knew this & that.

But as I had already said even though it had been done in a good or bad way, it is good on making the players competitive & became better.

Coz I'm being off topic I will say what features I want on the future of toram. I want PvP(Pet vs Pet) battles so I can play toramon. Also, I want them to add Potum/Wolf in the character creation just for fun.

 

I totally agree with you on the swords having the strongest single nuke skill in-game on lv150 cap. I observed it on super dark mushroom (boss) when he used a skill. He stands still, raised the hammer, and then slashes to the ground. I think that was the lv150 skill (just thinking it would be).

But anyway, about the knuckle class being left as a sub-weapon. Actually that's there intention, because knuckle was mainly for breaker rank (by the devs). But it was then used as a sub because of its strong skills that needs high atk in order to have high dmg.

I don't have intentions to disrespect because i also admired brawler and there fighting style, which is cool btw.

 

Oh btw! about the NC until lv150 cap thing, actually the devs have already made a quest that gives more exp than "Pride of the Rich". Its " Avenge with Dolls" also on lefina. it gives 380,000 exp, which is greater than NC. There are other quest that gives more exp but harder to farm.

 

Theres also that one in lefina where you need to farm parasitized dogs which is also better than the dolls quest... But then again its too hard for a luck mage....

 

Well, about the opened topic, which is about "showing off", to summarize that, its fun showing off. Its either via looks, damage, tankiness(dunno if its a word,) or survivabilty.
And, will you stop saying " Yah, im busy in real life anyway". That is showing off. People here have other things to do also, which is not playing all the time.

 

toram is one of the games that you can leave for a while and come back later and still have fun (lots of events)

dunno about what will happen in the future but im currently saving up for a katana because I think they will be overpriced when the weapon comes out.

 

I think i'm probably in the minority of things currently, but i've grown to not care much about the raw damage everyone else does with Martial Skills. If the damage was taken away from Sword/Staff/Bowguns there would literally be no point in using them as a main weapon in conjunction with knuckles. They'd be weaker mechanically, defensively, offensively, proration wise, speed wise, and in terms of interruption capability. Heck, they even give up sub weapons. So they've got to be strong somewhere to justify the option even being in existence.

Other weapons being stronger offensively and hitting the "maximum potential" of Martial Skills offensively isn't the real issue. The bigger issue is that the benefits of Knuckles is underwhelming. Here's the list.

• Flee: Needs some insanely high requirements to justify it's worth and is nigh useless depending on what you're attempting to fight. Making our defensive advantage void. Unless you like sacrificing Crit for 90% more Flee....Might be in a better situation one day. But not now. :v.
• Motion Speed: Is hard to obtain and needs wildly high amounts of focus to abuse, not to mention that the cap maxing out at 50% feels like a cop out. Cool, at 11000 aspd, I now have swift tag all the time? Does that cover the sacrifices of Flee, HP, MP, CRT, CDMG, ATK, ect that'll I'll have? Probably not.
• Sub Weapons: All options for sub weapons are extremely questionable. Which is the point. They're a choice. Which is great. It isn't as great when your main weapon, that also doubles as a sub weapon, is probably the best sub weapon in the game. So now you're choosing between other sub weapons that are worse then yours. Weirdly enough, most sub weapons tied to a main weapon tree all also happen to weaken one of your strengths by having them equipped. Which makes this weird phenomena where everyone uses Sub weapons better than you as well. Outside of Daggers, Shields, and Arrows.

Why arrows? Cause you're the only character in the game that benefits from Smoke Dust. Archer's aren't going to cast it for you, so you'd better make use of that Flee somehow right? Daggers and Shields skills are questionable at best to get. Making your choices fairly weak sub weapon wise.


Anyway, what I want are increases buffs in these areas. Rather than doing more damage with my kicks. Let me kick noticeably faster, do more damage evenly between all of my sources of damage, dodge more, and allow my additional options to not suck half of the time. Cause that'd be a lot more fun then bigger numbers for most I think.


TLDR:
Sword/Staff/Bowgun having higher numbers than Knuckles isn't the issue. (Cause they'd be useless choices otherwise.)
Knuckles need better benefits for being weaker in raw damage.
Like Motion speed being easier to get, flee being better (useful), sub weapons other than Knuckles not sucking. Ect.
