Overpriced Gem runs???

It is purely economic. There's absolutely nothing wrong with letting the market dictate the price. It was never about the feelings of sellers or buyers. Neither has an obligation to safeguard the other sans ensuring that the deal, whatever terms they agree to, is concluded.

The same could be said of commodity items like NC, FN, and the like. In that market, Sellers are numerous hence price is really low. Needless to say, Buyers in that regard are not obligated to protect Sellers and give them reasonable price points for their efforts. It's just economics really.

Toram is an open economy market. There are no regulators to police the market. No price caps exists and similarly, no price floors as well. It is all about the market and that is the beauty of it.

 

price wise its not a trainsmash to those who can buy orbs. hell i never sell my gem runs i usually run with my gf and our 2 alt accounts.
but you have to realise the price was never set in stone at this point it should be going lower according to increase of gem sellers. but that doesn't seem to be the case xD

 

I asked level cause was needed of a 139 player for do nm. No one in our pt was able to select nm. 0,0

 

As a seller of course I want a best price.....no easy to get gem...I have to recycled many avatar part to get it

Yeah prices are ridiculous, people bidding on a gem when the drops don’t even come close to what you pay. So I’ve given up, no point in bidding if I’m going to be late or outbid. Sorry come back again gem run already over.

Because it's wrong? Almost every gem sold on this forums has been profitable, lots of the XTALs we've been getting are over 4m not including other drops. The most "selfish" thing for gem runners to do is to not even sell their gems but use them for themselves with multiple accounts because that's even more profitable (although less stable) than selling it.

 

What youre saying doesn't conflict with the statement I made. Perhaps it is just wrong because its from me lol. Anyways I won't brother waking this debate up again. Becuase sick of being made out to be ignorant about something where I see both ends of.

 

Gotcha, sorry about that. I got too aggressive here because I low-key felt a little offended people are making out higher gem prices as an act of selfishness.

Its not fun i had one and some sellers blamed me for not going with the bidders that won but i said within the 30 mins and maybe alittle over which would also give enough people a chance to bid while i was at work and needed to get home. It dragged the bid war on and people started calling me greedy. Some did protect me though thank you to those guys.

I'm fine with it coming off as rude. Thats how the real world is, not everything is gonna be sad nicely of course. Thats not reason to heat things up lol. The empathy you offer was calling sellers "greedy" and "not to fall in our traps". What trap are we setting exactly, last time i checked we can do what we want with (((OUR))) items and buyers has the (((OPTION))) to buy it or not. If its too exp in your opinion dont buy it. Gem sellers are nice enough to sell their gems, i saw your one status that says if you got one youd just use alt accs to get more out of it. Youre litterally just upset about the inflation because you cant profit from it. No one needs to help you profit.
