The problem with Toram post lvl 80

Toram was a blast in the opening levels. 1.You found groups for bosses readily. 2.Farming different bosses got you decent spina, not rich, but decent.3. You could level up good from quest or boss runs.
Buut, once you hit the 70~80 lvl range things change dramatically.
1.El Scaro is a ghost town with very few quest. 2.The later mq areas are ghost towns 3.Its highly unlikely to find any groups for mq bosses anymore. 4.Money comes from Minotaur runs or a few other bosses. 5.Your exspected to nc farm to level. 6.Your hope that guildmates will run you through endgame, but that is highly dependant on if they are on and/or they want to run you
Logging on my character from 84 to 100 went from having fun exsploring land and kiling things as mq advanced to: Go on Mino runs for spina for 40mins, wait around hr to hope someone/guild shows up for grouping for upper lvl bosses. Just soloing easy mode to advance mq but is boring gameplay wise and not get drops.
Im suppose to farm one mob for hrs to get nc for levels or wait around hrs to hopefully find party for boss lvl exp.

This game went from fun to a boring rinse and repeat farmfest in an instant. For these reasons I stopped playing at 100.
This game just became one big headache past lvl 80. I hope in the future: 1.There is more than one way to level up than nc and waiting hr or more for boss runs. 2.El Scaro gets more quests to help with lvling, not just the two 99 stack ones. 3.Later game areas get more people around like early-mid game so players can more readily grind diff boss for exp and spina. Not just repeat nc and Mino farming

What things would you want fixed about later half of the game to keep it fun/interesting?

 

To answer your poll, 2nd half is fun coz you can see your damage potential. Your character will peak.

 

I find those issues annoying but finishong mq isn't a hustle til you get to the tentacle event battle before imitator XD

Theres no easy mode for it so you're forced to somehow beat these overpowered tentacles that flinch and stun. Usually solo since the party can't join.

 

Guessing you dont know about the exp boost from killing bosses 4+- lvls then you?
And your guild probably just sucks ass

idk why new players (I believe not all of them) always talk about level level level level.
Seriously, there r things even more fun than level. A pro with lv 100 char can beat lv 130 char believe it or not.
Coz there r so many things we dont know.

Solo wise sadly true, but with friends the game post lvl 80 gets actually somehow more engaging. Also try not to rely too much on levelling with nc, there are other more fun ways to level up.

 

I agree with some of the things you're talking about like El Scaro for example. But a lot of people including myself enjoy grind-fests. It all depends on your preferences. If you want help or a party to level up together you should make a thread or a LINE group or something to find players wanting to level. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen anyone post something about a group for this yet.

 

NC is sooo 2016

 

Back when level cap was just level 70. we didnt care about capping. we just farmed the shit out of anything we can think off. and it was fun.
Every just thinks being capped means you're strong, well you could think that until some lower level player beats the shit out of your char because they have better equips because they just kept farming things to sell for spina and buy items.

 

more level = more skill points and stat points.
a pro with lv100 char actually already have one of their char capped and got all the bonus stat and skill points.
so there is nothing wrong about wanting to get level fast, maybe after capped they do care about equips hehe

Yes I know, and thats not what I meant, it seems we have a misunderstanding.

 

There is also pets you know, i have remade my alc/refiner/stater to be free of NC dependence and it was fun figuring that out, and im not regretting that choice to make things more "interesting". I still wish we can have a tentacle pet, it would have been fun!

You can use a mercenary a pet and one of your other characters to create your own party and it will be able to assist in those main quest event battles. If you have a strong enough Merc on your list a decent pet a lvl 80 main and a lvl 70+ secondary you can solo play main quest all the way up and use the exp boost farm method. As all games it does get slower in the higher lvls but there are many options to gain lvls, as said b4 lvl is less important than build and gear now getting spina to get top end equips is a challenge.....

 

Lv 100 - 105 -> Don Yeti
Lv 106 - 110 -> Bexiz
Lv 111 - 115 -> Proto Leon
Lv 115 - 120 -> York
Lv 125 - 130 -> Lapin
Lv 130 - 135 -> Salamander
Lv 135 - 140 -> Builder Golem
For bosses, break all to earn more Exp. These levelling that I did, is based on my experience and research in the forums.
I suggest you stop complaining and try something new. I think you just lazy and obviously you dunno how to play Toram, because you didn't explore much.
