anyway, I'm hoping for the new gears they show in the stream. Some of it has a new name, at least my friend who can read Japanese said so.

 

Tbh V2 wasn't bad. It was just classier than what people expected, making you look pompous and rich instead of edgy and battle ready. Some can argue Anni dress is like that but looks better, but that was supposed to look like a suit no matter the case.

Last xmas event seems magnitudes better than this event.

> xmas 2016:
- Massive castle, with chests, nice design.
-Two bosses with new attack patterns, massive aoes, and awesome equipments.
- New weapon recipes for all classes.

> Xmas 2017:
- New map: Tiny cramped town. High aggro mobs.
- One boss: Blue turbo dragon, spams aoes, no clear pattern, permanently puts players in slow motion. Visually awful to look at / deviant art level cringe, looks like machina tier wtf.
- Lame costumes, no new weapons.
- Christmas knight NPCs look like they got equipment advice from Rugio Ruin bot farmers.

- International server 1 is gridlocked, you can't log in and have to escape to empty server or else be trapped at log in window.

Only Samurai update can save 2017 xmas fail.

 

I dunno if I can blame the last one on Aso. We've never had servers this full.

Let's be honest though. Nobody was looking at the Xmas event like. Oh my gawd! This is gonna be lit! I mean. The highlight of last year was HIB farming. Why put in so much work again for a populace that's only asked for HIB and said nothing good about the Christmas design of last time till now. xD

 

so, what's the drop rate for farming Xmas star? I feel the drop rate varies among monsters
