Phantom Slash & Tempest DW DPS Build Guide by makOi Lvl120

DS mastery is not affect 1H stance, so I tested using the same char as my DS.
And you maybe right, at lvl10 both DS mastery + DS control. the accuracy given is around +12~14 fixed value compare with 1H sword stance.

Let's forget about this, I give up on formulas.
I can say the game still buggy to figure it out

therefore DW mastery does not increase crit rate and hitrate if using 1h?

 

I can say "no" of course.
Because ASPD given by DS control is also not given while I am on 1H stance.

Mak0i, I've found that at the same levels against lavaricas, my dex/agi build did more damage that your dex/str build. Even in crit damage. You told me that your spin slash skill did 500 dmg non crit (I assume that's the knock back wave). At what level were you? 40-50? Because at lvl 20 against rutiro, my spin slash does the same damage, and crits for 1k+. Yes, it was doing the same at lvl 1. I personally believe that agi is the better choice, since it also adds flee and evasion, which means less chance getting hit, and more chances to do evasion attacks (extra damage). The aspd gained from it means no need for the expensive feather cape or gold skeleton crystal, and more room for crit rate and crit damage crystals, or more mp/hp crystals, which are much easier to obtain. Also means for poor people, no need to spend money on potions and extra revita for all the times when you could have avoided being hit altogether. I can kill a lavarica faster with my dex/agi, then with my dex/str, even at lower levels (me needing initial slash and 2-3 normal attacks with dex/str, as opposed to initial slash, and 1-2 normal attacks from dex/agi. Both having max aspd).
In my opinion, dual blade was meant to be a dex/agi build. Agi increases the damage of your off hand, and adds a little extra overall damage (from what I understand from the description) whereas str only affects damage a little. Also, the Godspeed passive increases agi, (which would in turn mean more damage, since agi also increases attack at the same rate str does) and it increases the damage of evasion attacks (the attack done after you evade), your first strike (when you unsheath your blades), and some skills that also involve unsheathing your weapons. So more evasion would mean more chances to do extra damage.

 

Thats on lower level. Let me know once you hit 60+ and lets see what happens. Str excel on higher lvl coz at lower lvl the dmge bonus from str which is the crit dmge is extremely low due to your atk stat is around 200+. Im just waiting for someone to post their dex+agi build see how much dmge it can do.

Spinning Slash Lvl1 VS Lvl10 is almost the same @lvl1 crits 900-1k @lvl10 crits 1.2k+ and ticks 80-90+ (this is againts shell mask)

 

Well, I'm currently testing out the dex/str build, so I'll see. Kinda too lazy to remake to agi again.

 

agi/dex DW will slaughter str/dex DW at anytime of the day LOL its like ali vs. frazier . . . . . float like a butterfly sting like a bee hahahaha . . . or bruce lee vs. chuck Norris or whatever hahaha you forgot that agi increases flee/eva rate as well , I honestly think dodging most attacks is a way more better feature than hitting more crits and dying fast LOL . . . Glass cannon fanatics are so generic

I plan to put 5 atk up, 5 smash, and 10 crit up and trigger slash 6
Final stats would be 60-70 agi and all dex.
Crit would be from items, Astute and critup skill and dual wield mastery(reduce penalty)...
Is this build fine? Hp, i'll just wear HP pots for 500hp boost and BDarmor for 300 more hp.. Is this okay? Or is this weak? Strongest twin slash i made as of now is 4600 @level 47..

 

Oh forgot to mention that 4600 is the highest crit i made from this my build.. Lowest crit is 2200, noncrits on twin slash is around 1000-1500, spinning non crit 400-600, crits is around 600-1200.. Normal hits is too low, 150-200 on main hand, 130-180 on offhand.. Crits is 200-400 for main hand, 150-350 for off hand.. Problem is if the monsters have high def, my damage becomes 100-150 on main hand, 70-120 for offhand.. Im not sure how many hits it does.. -.-

 

str and agi both gives 1 atk in stat, but after comparing my damage output. at 120 dex 69 agi, i was doing 700 -900 main, 300-400 off hand
but at 120 dex 69 str, i was doing 75% of my damage, both were tested in forestia and mochelo, 5 runs each

Tbh i cant tell since im not an agi DW. One thing i notice is you have bless 10? Dont waste your SP on that skill since it wont heal you much.

 

Kindly give me a sample vid/ss againts seltirio. Get your highest dmge so i can check.

 

@Cypherian @Smoke check the sample vid i made and compare your dex+agi DW if it can do higher than that wearing two adel swords.

 

Okay thanks! Maybe I'll reset my skills when i reached high level.. The problem as of now is no one wants to party other classes.. They only party magicians so i put bless 10 for solo leveling.. Spinning while bless is active on mobs.. But anyway, i'll remove it.. And i'll put it on 5safe rest and 5hp boost. However, im still thinking of blade skills.. Does sword mastery and sword techniques from blade skills increase the damage of DW? Can someone comfirm this? Thanks!

 

Sword mastery increase your overall dps (w/ sword skills and dw skills) while sword technique increase your sword skill dps (astute hh trigger slash and other sword active skills) meaning this passive doesnt apply to DW skills.

i tried this and imo not worth it ATM, coz same stats 120 dex/ 69 agi/str, before and after, i don't see any difference.
