Soin slash for farming is useless. It uses your combined agi and dex modifyers for the initial knockback then does what I will call a tunnel effect.

It is not meant as an aoe. It is meant as a combination to reflex and flee.

Edit: you reflex run at boss spin then lawl it. We do nt have bsses now that need it.... but we will......

Meh. If you dont like spin slash so be it idc. Spin slash for me is a good farming aoe skill. The initial hit from it crits 900-1.2k max and ticks 77-91+ (15+ hits for a 100mp skill) those mob thats being hit by the aoe will surely die when spin slash wears off. Totalling the dmge is 1.6k+-2.5k+

Kindly help me decide on which is better all around character, I had a lvl 50 - 1 hnd/dagger user and a low level dual wield. Wanna know based on your observation if 1hnd/dagger user can be at par when it comes to dps with a dual wield. What I also notice is 1 hnd user can easily move side to side in a split second during boss fight rather than dual wield or it's just me not yet accustomed to it.

@Impact can help you with 1h dps build. Im not so sure if dw can be pared to 1h but i think 1h dps have better astute dmge than a DW coz most 1h go full dex which means higher atk stat than a dw.
What you notice is true. There are scenario DW cant dodge some red zone. (I can say depends on how you play it.)
I have played with @Zenki earlier with his 1h dps and i got rank1 in dps in 3x fight.

 

Yes. Trigger Slash lvl10 if i remember it correctly 100% inc your mp per atk. Per level is +10%. If you have trigger slash lvl6 you gain 60% mp per atk bonus.

Thanks, currenty i'm at ~90 str with ~60 dex. So far i'm still happy wih my dps unless a player with good gears shows up lol

 

if you plan to go a DW path you over pumped your STR. DEX should be your main stat before Str & Agi.
Base on @Cypherian Info DEX+AGI deals better dps than DEX+STR so i might try to remake my DW once i got all the items listed on the guide.
I might go for 25-50 STR. Pump Agi til i get CAPPED ASPD without any pot. The rest go DEX.
