Honestly yeah lol

I've only been playing for half a year now but there was way more communication and joking around even when farming.

People try to hog all the ranks in almost every party I'm in now which sucks.. it especially sucks when they're asses about it.
"haha I did 300k damage"
"Haha I didn't even do anything and I got [RANK ]"
"Haha how come I do so much more than you"

I've had people even do the sidelying animation before the boss fight begins and not even help because "oh hey I'm so strong so I'll jump in a bit later"
And they always flip out when you attack and interrupt the boss or take the aggro

Especially in a party full of katanas (which is 70% of the time for me)

 

I don't really go for break, only when the chance comes is when I start tappin (i have no break skills haha).

and then the people lose it

 

As a katana user, if i see a tank or someone who always interuppt aoes, let him be. Im fine cus HASSOOOOO it!

My hate lie simple:
Ico : the dude keeps spammin tumble flinch n stun for the core! Hate him I SHout : Dont Break!!!!
Imitacia : Robe hungry stun it too soon without tellin me! Hate him I SHout : Dont Break!!!!
Motzo : The dude just impact him for no reason : Hate him I SHout : Dont Break!!!!
and so on
Will u hate me for that?

 

honestly, hasso is generally stronger with less co-operative people, esp those who would rather interrupt that take two steps back and waiting for the AOE to end. they find that extra 0.5 secs of DPS so important.

 

welp thats what you get farming with randoms.... if yer farming with randoms you adjust to them or leave the pt... theres always hasso as secondary dps and it deals decent dmg... your all basically the same they dont want to adjust to you and you dont want to adjust to them...

theres always toxic gamers in every game... so if ya want a good pt theres friends and guild... theres 100 friend slots its not just for orb shards...

I finally got back to my previous guild (left temporarily) and farming feels better than before lol

Its easy making the changes for others usually but if they're not willing to adjust or compromise then not much I can do but leave or put up with it and suffer...

 

Weird because for my case people usually ask for break (got break skill?/can u stun?) with people asking not to tumble/flinch/stun only IN some hard bosses but they never ask to "DOnT break" because we know breaking increase drop rate and some stuff are break only drop.

I think if people have to be able to adjust when they are party with randoms but at the same time if the excuse was "don't break u stopped me from being op" well.... They aren't really op of they have such a high requirement to begin with IMO just a selfish ass.

 

Indeed, tanks nowadays have to be flexible in coping all weird bosses and even weirder random parties. P.def and guardian is almost a requirement for tanks these days. And end up as a potion guzzler if not.

 

Tank breaker skill working with katana skill? Its a chemistry, cannot be found easily in random pt lel

 

Sadly there have been a saying. "A tank that break, is usually a tank that spam." And " A spamming nut, need a kick in the butt."

 

Hi! I'm actually new to the game, just eight days old (and counting). So I don't know things about Toram. Now, I get it that breaking the boss can make us get more drop and negative is that boss can use a stronger skill like reducing your attack and healing boss HP. But a party member said once "don't tap the boss if broken" and we asked why, and he said, "it will affect the looting". Looting here means the drop, right? And tapping makes it drop more, right?

This happened in Minotaur boss, by the way, so I don't know what skill Minotaur uses.

 

Looting=items, materials droped after the run done. Break all parts increase drop rate and some items only drop breaking. But if you are farming just for xtals break parts is no needed(fast kill).

 

its funny coz i read all and mostly samurai..so to summarize.."dont break" usually for samurai noob who want op atk and dont care teamate die in aoe -.- rip gameplay

 

Mino is a gen1 boss meaning this is the basics of the basics. If a part is broken, dont waste time tapping it (since you only lose time and nothing will happen anyway) it is better to move and find another angle to see any other breakable parts that need tapping. Tapping a broken part wont affect anything other than your sanity and IQ levels. Mino spits fire, and you get first taste of very nasty effect called burn. No matter what level or how many hp you got "IT FRIGGIN HURTS!"

 

If they circle is red or already broken no need to break anymore if it's white u can continue breaking.
There is limit, some boss only have 2 others have 3 maybe he meant if all already broken no need to try anymore?

Unless he is an idiot who think no break more loot....

 

How about 2h it always uses skill such as tumble flinch to output more dmg depending on combo you are using. Does 2H stop attacking when the are fully able to break the boss and just protrate even though they have High dps gear

 

-not all 2h combos use hard hit and impact.
-you can use steeplejack if you really cant drop your impact in a combo

 

Most of tanker doing breaker especially knuck tank, put a breaker (flinch, tumble, stun combo) using smash sonic wave and bash. They put 1 mp combo at there and doing a repeated combo without single proration which makes dps dmg drop so lot. A good tanker in my mind can keep agroo and breaking also the dmg of dps didnt drops
