Knucks tanks got more utility. Since tanking pretty much need aggro generation, so guardian and provoke (for maintenance) is a must. P.def is purely for survival and to help zantei users which only add potential of a good tank and party survival.
They can also choose between a 15sp sakuchi or power wave for kiting and added ampr.
Most good tanks nowadays only do autos and use skills only when it is actually needed.

 

You get breaker ranks by not even breaking that just lame imo. . . Breaker rank should go to those who do some break skills and not those who just spam attacks. . . I thought that in toram being breakers are good cause its different youre not the attacker or tank it givrs you that sense that you are different being a breaker. . . But now you get the attacker the tank and breaker. . . Thats just stupid one player should only get 1 rank in my humble opinion if you already have the attacker then you should not be considered to other ranks. . . Asobimo should make it that you only get one rank per boss fight to give others chances. . .

It just stupid really to put breaker ranks to those who gave the most hit. . . They should make it Hitter rank instead since Breakers are not even getting its importance or make it 5 ranks and add HITTER rank lmao

 

when samurai first came out my severely underleveled char kept getting breaker almost all the time compared to the other lvl 100s and i was like lvl 40-63 that time :/

 

I thought the same, it should have gone to the player who did most tapping and most break imo

yep breaker rank is pretty misleading in my opinion.. im a brawler and constantly flinching and tumbling the boss for anti aoes yet the dw who spams spin and phantomslash got the breaker rank.. like for real??

 

Tanks should just be petty auto attackers.
If toram is going to put so many dumb disadvantages to interrupting,it might as well be removed.This mindset is terrible.Everybody,even the "balancing team"hates brawlers and yet they have yet to be removed from the game.Katana is the actual problem but nobody cares cause its "muh dps"

They are ironically the only unique class with mechanics in the game that differentiates other mmorpgs.Everybody else is just "muh dps" and sword tanks are just more aggro and rather hard to justify at this point with all the anti tank mechanics.

 

I know right. I used mage fu cause i thought the breaker rank would be fun to aim cause its new to me but if you partied with the blades you're dead cause magic proration is all I can contribute haha lame. . . And mages are supposed to be overpowered. . . Ha. . .

 

Hmm it depends on how we define 'breakers'...
IMO breaker is defined as the one who did 'control' on boss, flinch/tumble/stun are one of those 'control' skill which allow us to tap break. There are others too, like slow, paralyze, etc
Auto Attack contributed to breaker rank probably due to proration... It is like a debuff for boss which amplify damage(for physical/magics)

The best way to get breakers rank is probably uses a lot of skill which inflict status ailment, enchance auto Attack (aggravate, hidden arm, additional melee/ magic) and giga speed potion
* spamming flinch/tumble/stun is not really welcomed on most boss nowadays

 

I managed to take breaker solely by spamming auto attack and wave blade>issen combo so I don't think stat ailments are related to the rank.

I think its really just the number of attacks you dealt on the boss, damage may be unrelated (i was severely underleveled compared to pt members so dmg wasn't that much)

 

Yeah, numbers of attacks affect breakers rank, damage affect attackers rank
Stats ailment is just my opinion as a breaker should do in boss fight

 

actually breaker rank rn = player with most hit is 100% breaker..(best example spam spinslash dw and brawler who auto atk the whole time)

 

Breaking is still needed since vanity runs the economy of toram. Everybody always want "that cool new rad duds!" Specially on this meg2 event (do you know how those dang apps cost!?) Not to mention the cost of dyes will make any emo cry. A respectable knux tank is great can opener for goodies like these(since game mech sez that certain items are "break only" rewards)
