Ideas for maze lvl 1 characters

I guess most peeps in this Forum have a guild and therefore have access to maze.
Maze usually gets easier at the end of a month but it is kinda boring waiting all this time.
As lvl 1 characters deal more damage than full-fledged characters you may wanna try building one.
The problem to solve now are choices you need to make:
1. Which class you wanna rock? (1sp will be placed on your starting choice)
2. Skills - probably most problamitic as there is just 32sp left after you have chosen Point 1(based on having 1 character with current cap 145 +the 1000 ranks for atbs)
3. Stats+Gears

Currently i am experimenting with new katana class skills :
1. I picked monofu skills
2. i picked zantei and hasso lvl1 for now (27sp so far-6 left atm)
3. Stat full dex - on to Gears: i use Katana just for sub-my main weapon is a Cupid Bow with a C4-Crystal, c4 armor with iconos and ifrid, Gothic hat with proto and my ring is a beast fang Talisman with Tapir- overall these gears provide me with 99%crit and a little extra ampr - im not using any ava stat obtained by enchantment

So now it is your turn-let me know what you think of my Bow+Katana for maze as well as your own idea/experience regarding maze lvl 1 characters.

 

Lv1 sniper, running around

Long range kills, no revs till floor1000 early-mid month iirc (unlucky traps uses natural heal)

1mp combo, standard no impact short. Moeba, smoke dust, snipe/para, fist swift

Weapons non-player bow, armor used brigadine boss heavy (almost died to miracle potum lol)

Could use snowman garb nowadays heh, praise them powercreep nufufufu

 

I used to be active in maze before it updated with new bosess xD (quite a long time ago)
I was using a Lv17 sheild mage which is mininum level that i need to get necessary skill.
It is good but i feels like having a lot of time in casting storm and recharging.

Now i would like to try new chara with bow/bowgun. Considering to use snipe to boss, and arrow rain to group of monsters at higher floors.
Now we could equip star gem which able to save alot of skill point
The star gem i would like to try is moeba shot (now it is cheap), paralysis shot (optional for combo), sonic wave and etc.
Planning to have Mana Recharge which is very useful in maze (but the reduction of dmg...)

Without further exp with new bow chara. Lets go with long range high dmg + full crit ~\(≧▽≦)/~ (which the equip i have atm)


ps. I would like to join/assist for maze run in the next 26 hour (after maze renewal) as im free in holiday xD

 

If you wanna maze it would be better to look for a guild first XD-maybe take a look at guilds-section

 

crit katana. at least thats what i use to easy clear. most are 1-2 hit and pulse blade 10 takes care of boss

 

I used archer(lvl 1) with npc bow(+C),
Tyrant gear(additional 150% phs&mag),
Giga speed pot.

27sp from start used to :
- drop rate(lvl 10)
- mini heal(lvl 10)
- mp charge(lvl 7)
- power shot(lvl 1 by default)

85 stat points from start go to full dex.

Dmg from additional gear just easily kills everything, even boss only need 2-4 times hit to K.O.
No attack skill, just normal attack.

edit :
- use armor that gives a lot of HP bonus(scrader armor,mozto armor,tapir armor,snowman armor)
- change bow to 'ice gun hail'(bow gun) and arrow to 'kukri'(dagger) for more additional dmg
- if your HP and MP are fine, use spirit tree bangle as special gear adds more additional dmg.

By those your lvl1 char could deal up to 5k damage per normal attack.
And as long as you have mini heal and mp charge you won't die.

Update equipments :

 

Depended on account, character class / weapon, and stat you have. Even Item buff needed.
Basically, lv 1 character with pure new account, it like impossible (1:1,000)
Lv 1 character with another character as high level in 1 account, I can said possible, just need to have some requirement equip that help to your character HP + MP. Rest is on ASPD and hit (accuracy).

 

Class:
In my guild we mostly use lvl1 archer, you cam run with full pt but also can solo to 1000floor.
Party layout I(fastest, usually with 4 dps lvl1 archer)
Party layout II(3 dps lvl1 archer, 1 dead player as ghost to help set off traps with no risk and find next floor faster. Ghosts can see the full map)
Skill:
Shot Skill: Power Shot(lvl5), Moba Shot(lvl5/10) <-main dmg
Magic Skills: MP Charge(lvl1)
Dats skill above sud be enough if you just want to survive, and still has a couple SP left for another skills such as HP or MP boost. No combo, we use normal atk or Moeba. Dats enough to kill mob 2-4x hit KO
Stat: Full Dex
Gears:
No special item needed. To begginer in our guild we just lend or told em to use hp additional, and hp buff.
Weap: Bow more atk more good. No stat bow/npc bow? its fine
Arm: Any arm you have, but prefer to crit arm with roga or ico.
Add: Any HP boost Add, but if you had good arm with iconos, better use dmg boost add. HP boost add-> Snowman Head, Tapir Hood, Hero Scarf etc.
Sp Gear: Any MP boost talis
Buff: Giga, Vita Plus. etc

 

Cap dex, crit 14 bow with mozto knife and skills hidden arm, throwing knife and hidden arm rate inc skill maxed. Oneshoting almost everything and can throw knifes up to 12 metets.

 

You are actually using a bowgun then as dagger is not available for bow

 

How you get a long combo for a level1 char? If you kill anything outside it will level up fast.

 

enter a boss run and spam combo. when boss has low hp, go out.

 

Equip a the joke version of the weapon type of your choice in BlackSmith, and equip Mad Doc Garb. That will reduce your damage significantly enough so you can keep comboing w/o killing any miniboss, then run to an exit/go to guildbar/house. xD

Like, use Cat Paws + Mad Doc Garb to combo knux skills. Also, not allocating any stat while you build up combo points helps too.

 

Combo can be level up in maze too

 

Yup Combos can be built up in Maze as usual-Mobs in maze dun give any exp at all so the more you maze the more you can Level your cp

 

Yeah, the above posts pretty much gave all the tips lol

I used forest wolf normal, no stats added. Used high mp equips plus a hp armor since fw barely scratches me lol. But i think i used Eerie for totally no normal attacks too sometimes

Btw, why do people suggest tortuga that runs fast and has knockback that cancels combo? Or giant boar that deals high dmg and runs fast too? Does mini boss give better cp or...?

 

Tortuga got lot of hp and a famous punching bag since toram began. Thanks for the advice for those who quoted me. Sadly i missed the monthly race of our guild(first one to reach floor 100 with ss wins spina) but this is a good insight for next months dungeon race. Thank god i kept one of snowman suit for my collection(10k hp yeh!)

 

i use 2h, lv 10 rampage, iconos drop sinergatis, and my archer setup. lv 1 sonic blade takes care of crowded rooms, and for the rest of the floor just rampage em all
