Why need proficiency?

Guys I have a question abt proficiency. Why need prof of blacksmith while we can improve difficulty with stats,equipments? High lvl prof drive to what? Should I rise my prof lvl? My currently prof lvl is 21.

 

Um..I'm not that pro..at explaining things but,anyhow hee I go.
*Proficiency is Important so that u can create equipment with higher Level.
If ur proficiency level is low than,you won't be able to create new equipments.
*Yes,you ought to level ur proficiency.(it's equally important)

Proficiency increases ur difficulty lvl by 1 as ur proficiency lvls up. So, it allows u to craft high level equipments. In addition to that, proficeincy largely increases ur success rate at crafting equipments which means the higher ur proficeincy lvl the higher ur success rate. For example: i have a Vit bs with proflvl132. I can craft equipments of higest difficulty like holy robes without any failures. Its almost 99% successful crafts.
