prorate question

I have impact in my combo as the only magic skill and im wondering in order to prorate, do i have to hit the enemy with impact or can i cast it away and still count? or would i need to use a skill like magic javelin?

 

Impact need hit the target for can deal prorate. If dont hit will not deal any prorate.

I'm not sure but I think inserting a magic skill in a series of physical skills when proration is on physical dmg may help you reach max dmg of combo. Like if boss needs 8 physical atk hit before it shift to auto/magic, that 1 magic skill inserted might save you 1 hit of physical atk proration eater so there will be enough room for the dps skills u chose to tag with smite. I'm not sure if 1 impact (magic skill) will shift proration to magic.

 

I have a question regarding physical attack for prorate. Like in a PT, do I need to auto-atk 8-15 times or does other players auto-atks accumulate the 8-15 physical?

 

imho proration is something that will constantly change depends on party members and how they deliver the dmg. i find monitoring your auto atk dmg is a sure way to tell the proration changed.

Question how does proration change during Rampage? Is each auto counted as a normal auto and only the last 3 prorated? Or is it all counted as 1 skill?

 

Goodluck. You might wanna check the range of your auto atk on a specific boss.

When you auto showing it's lowest dmg, it means the proration shifts to physical/magical atks. This is the right time to use your physical combo

If you're using a shorter combo u can spam that 2-3x then do 1-2 auto just to check whether proration for physical atk closed. This is when your auto will display it's max dmg in the range to that boss so you might wanna do auto until dmg becomes low.

 

I don't have that skill but u should tell what kind of proration it eats just by monitoring the skill's dmg output.

The 10 attacks are auto/normal/neutral proration, the last three hits are physical.
