Reccomended level for boss battles

Hi, I am kinda new and I have some questions about the battle system.
In boss battles there is a reccomended level to fight with the boss (for example: X Boss - Reccomended level: 70).
Is that reccomended level for an entire paty or for soloing the boss ?
If it is for soloing the boss then, Are we supposse to spam revitas for the entire battle ? Because it doesnt matter If I dodge all the attacks (the red and blue ones), the boss will still kill me with 9 or 10 attacks which are very weak but seems to be undogeable. Also, Are they truly undogeable or is there a way to avoid them ?

The recommended level in boss fight means you must have the same or higher level to fight boss in that mode.
The normal hit (not red or blue line) will hit you unless you have high [AGI]lity to dodge it, so normal hit is avoidable

 

party up with stronger people who cares if your level is 20 levels behind the recommended level
also use a girl character to increase your chances of not getting kicked

 

For hard difficulty and higher, you need to meet at least the recommended level to be a party leader or solo it. If you did not meet it, you can just choose someone who has met the level as the party leader. This does not apply for easy or normal difficulty

 

If you are having a hard time dealing with boss battles at your level. It just means you are just lacking something. Specifically extra stats, good gear, etc. If you are new, i recommend to take a peek at your emblems since that is the "forgotten" source of power. Mainly the stat points and skill points that would make you stronger, some of it is rewarded to you by these emblems. And as a bonus, it is shared to all the char slots in your account.(this is why it is easy to "re-make" a failed character than buy one of them reset and obli books). You can check em out on your emblems list and know what is needed to be done to get them.

Ps: yes, getting KO 400 times will also give you an emblem. So don't give up and enjoy the game on your pace.

Most boss battles can be won by simply getting the timing right. All monster have a finite number of attack patterns and behavior that can be identified. Some people fight bosses/monsters over and over again to read these patterns and create tactics specific to these bosses. Some people (like me) even try to arrange their combos for each particular boss/mobs. For example, I always try to have my stun/tumble skill timed to when the boss is about to use an AOE skill, if the boss is not sensitive to stun/tumble.
