So, what's your favorite boss?

Yes, I am bored. With that out of the way, TO THE QUESTION!
What is your favorite boss? And I don't mean dropwise because that's just dumb. What boss gives you just the right amount of challenge and annoyance, has your favorite theme, which boss gets you going?

Me personally I gotta say York or Zahhak. Their music is fitting, one is the song of a fight against a friend and once ally who's lost their way and the other is that against a deformed beast who is tortured by its own form. The battle for either isn't inherently hard, simple mechanics to follow. York gets harder later on and has no real OHKO attacks beyond his Sleep > Killswitch combo (which never actually happens) and Zahhak you just need to make sure you keep it stunned or Poison. Both can be challenging on harder modes but aren't so hard that you're going to throw your phone (like Guignol and Jade Raptor. They're cancer as all hell). Now, with York being absolutely glass now that Meteor Breaker is a thing (and if you time correctly you can kill him flat out when he tries to sleep you due to Invincibility Frames on Meteor) he's been pushed back. However, Zahhak has higher defense and better offense (imo) and is something that I'd fight more often if parties existed there.

Anyways that's my unreasonable text wall, who else is bored?

 

Scrader. Loved the bgm and its my most farmed boss as my first char was a Tank and getting the brigandine drop took ages lol. Also my first gem run was there.

 

Y'know, I never really fought Schrader much. But looking back he was tough enough that I'd put him on the list

 

Flare volg. The map bgm sounds like oil that boiled on a frying pan.

Only thing i like on that dragon is when i help newbs on their MQ and see Mochelo vs Flare Volg again and again.

Favourite Boss - Tyrant Machina - I just feel this boss has the perfect amount of "oh shit" and "That shouldn't have hit me" while also having that "" factor.
Favourite Miniboss - All of the Overpowered Potums - Small Little Devils will get whats coming to them. My idea for loving them is because they all look so harmless until they one shot you because you took them too lightly.

Well my fave would be Tyrant because I kinda want to let the dead rest in peace rather than having then walk in the form of a giant mutant.

My favorite boss is definetly Gespenst. Gespenst has never really been a challenge, but I just have a lot of fond memories over there. Gespenst was the boss I used to use for making YouTube videos and for combo leveling. I also like the mystery too, like, why is Gespenst there? No one knows I guess. I also love the scenery of the underground channel. Most people would say that the underground channel is a bit gloomy and nasty, and it kinda is, but what I like about it is how vast it is.

Just look at that ledge down there. I want to go down there so bad, but I can't.

 

Here is what i usually do. When a mq taker ask for help, i ask the player if they saw the volg aready, if not i ask to be invited in a party with the player and ask to dump any merc/pets that is in the party(need space for 2) after that ill instruc the player to go down and see volg the first time and scream in a high pitch tone when they see the volg and run like a headless chicken and escape. After that is done ill instruct the player to go back to the mochelo's handler, talk to her and ask for her help. Next is show time! Go back to volg challenge him again( with me in tow of course ) and dont forget to bring a jawbreaker since most of the time it fits in there when your jaw reach the floor. Then i prance along doing autos and watching mochelos hp before doing a killer combo to finish it off.

 

You do know that you can jump down to the jelly grotto from that spot right?(that is the prime farm spot for summer shell farming) at least you get to feel the vastness in a few seconds in mid-air.

Favorite? Definitely the Meme (forgot its full name)
While the skills are ez to dodge, the area are so smol so it just fit perfectly. Its also fun when your new friends have no idea how to reach there, the best part? When someone get knocked back so far he/she instantly 'leave' the fight (Oh no! My foot! << dat system message lol)

Second favorite would be Inzanio: low annoyance levels, cool guy, friends get losts a lot on the way to the boss.

Imitator cause in nightmare is fukin a hell and the battle music is fukin epic.

 

Not from this spot, this is the one that is on the exact opposite side of the map from the entrance. I would have to turn around and walk a few tens of meters to drop down.

 

Tyrant, i find it quite fun farming there
