Juuuust a thought

I know that this is a fan-site and suggesting things won't be really read by asobimo. Buuut I'd just like to know if anyone else would like the idea of Group Chats(GC) like the ones in Iruna.
For those who have no idea how those are, you basically create a chat that can be public or private (with password) and you can set the maximum amount of people. GC had different categories, like SeekParty/Guild, just Convo or Trading. I'd think of these bc sometimes i think someone in some server wants to farm/buy something that i also want to but we may be in different worlds and have no idea the other exists. A GC would easily solve it, so what'd y'all think?

Wouldn't that make most cities dead silent?
If everyone occupied by the group chat, no one would bother to use the normal chat anymore. I'd miss the quarity random chat of El Scaro.

 

It would be nice if Aso would implement the world chat already. People would advertise there instead of other places, so you could just turn off the world chat if you don't want to see it and all of the other chats would be clean (as far as buying/selling is concerned).

 

Somehow i doubt that would change anything. Instead expect dual world/shout spam for maximum profit 11111

They can only type/copy&paste in chat so fast.

 

I feel there are enough people in the game where this will help with lessening clutter, but also still have many people who still use the other chats. I would love it so I could... *thinks of something that's not self-incriminating* Send... messages to certain people and not have to dm all of them.
All jokes aside, I personally think it is a beneficial add on to the game. While I do understand if the game goes on without it, it would be pretty helpful if they added it.

 

Not necessarily. In iruna rokkoko is still the big town where you go to spam buying or selling, and a gc helps you attract people who aren't in the town. And not only rkk; I've seen Sofya and Minaula being pretty full and selling/chatting.
