I dun think garyou is the only reason why peeps sold their odes, i think its the whole tier4 mononofu skills that made people decide to quit katana

It justs needs too much prep time to make it work, meanwhile other classes can deal the same dmg with less effort

 

Next patch: garyou becomes unsheath. Odelon xtals skyrockets to 100m each.

tenryu ransei can get that much damage if used correctly.
tenryu users would still most likely be able to get attack rank even if party with some finale mage

it just doesn't have the extremely high damage all-out in 1 attack,but distributed/increasing between combos.Some people still thinks it's weak though.

 

Agreed. I'm a tenryu user now. With garyou as an alternative option to close the fight or take a huge chunk of hp to the boss. And have to say. It's more fun to play it rather than stacking 10 skills as fast as possible then just hit for 500k-1m

 

But then it is all circumstantial in nature, a lot of other classes can also outdps finale mage, its all a matter of equipment, handling skill and the boss...

Most peeps left katana cuz the boss is halfway dead before you can stack tenryu, not to mention garyou, its not weak per se, but other tier4 skills has outshined it

 

Garyou deal 50% more damage than full charged cross fire tho

 

Impossible. Crossfire full charge has 60+ multiplier (more if decoy is on) while garyou only has 30.
Garyou only has 600 more constant than crossfire and 100% pierce with kairiki. That much on regular boss not enough to get +50% more. It would be possible only if it was unsheathe.

 

I Sold one odelon xtall in the weekend for 2.5m, now I see some people selling it for 1.5m.

 

Garyou needs 10 skills.
10 skills+ is 2 DPS combos.
2 DPS combos dmg > Garyou dmgdmg.
I think in terms of DPS even teryou is betterbetter.
Garyou is just for throwing high number.

Well in my case it's around 50% more damage on scradder and Cerberus '-')/ I'll print screen it later

Combo? Nah... Tenryu -> Tenryu -> Tenryu -> Mega -> Tenyu -> Tenryu -> Tenryu -> Tenryu -> Tenryu -> Garyou Combo

 

Combos/steps:
1. Initiating slow and 3mp tenryu
pulse blade > triple thrust (save) > tenryu (swift)
2. Gaining 30sec tenryu buff and armor break with zantei OR simply use Magadachi if aggro not on u
reflex/pummel > zantei (save) > kairiki (swift) > meikyou (swift)
3. Manual or Smite 1mp tenryu during buff
Issen > tenryu (smite) > meikyou/pummel (cons)
4. smite Garyou (use combo 2 for kairiki and armor break)
Meikyou > Garyou (smite) > pummel (cons)
