I haven't played for a year and didn't even play that much too understand every mechanics of the game. I heard from a friend that if I wanted to make a character with good dps and good skills for breaking I should try the Knuckle with hybrid class like: Gun-fu, Sword-fu, and Stuff-fu. However he's not familiar with the topic but he said that if I wanted high Dps I should try Gun-fu. Could any veteran player give their opinion for which one is the best build?Relevant answers will be highly appreciated.(if there's another thread with the same topic pls link me up so I could delete this. I'm searching for an hour with same topic however I just found some guides and confusing information )

When looking at build ideas I often use youtube to see what the capped versions look like and how they fare in battle. When I started staff fu and sword fu were all over the place.. today I only see sword fu. I'm not sure if its because of the lack of staff fu statted staffs tho...

skill wise, sword has meteor, buster blade, berserk. you can build sword fu without much crit gear with berserk and astute.
staff can only offer maximizer... and finale???

Maybe I can give a hand to explain, well this just on my humble opinion...

    Gun-fu
    • Long Ranged (lot survivability)
    • High accuracy (Bcoz dex stat)
    • High AMPR (If you learn decoy)
    • Low aggro (If you learn sneak)
    • Low stabilty (50%)
    • Low critical damage (since str doesn't give more attack to bowgun, but you can add some str to get critical damage)
    • The lowest attack base weapon stat in fu class (for now)
    Sword-fu
    • High stabilty (80%)
    • High AMPR (You have trigger slash and rampage to cover your ampr)
    • High critical rate (astute and beserk for critical rate backup)
    • High durability (buster blade will heal you instantly, 1k HP/10s cast, and you have meteor break that give you invisibility while casting)
    • Balanced accuracy and critical damage (you can choose which one is your main stat, str or dex, but str give more attack rather than dex. And if you learn astute and beserk you will have +50critical rate with +25 critical rate base so you can go spend more dex after str rather than crt. P.S. Beserk will lower your stabilty)
    • Close ranged (if the boss spam linear aoe, you will get slap by the boss often. So you should dodge it boi!)
    • High aggro (if you use warcry for buff, and meteor break for damage reap, also rampage high aggro too)
    Staff-fu
    • The most fastest mp recovery from any other -fu class, yea Maximizer will give you instantly 1.5k MP
    • You can choose to be close ranged or long ranged (the power wave skill will give you an option to be a long ranged -fu)
    • Spamable (you should learn impact to redurce your main dps mp consumption)
    • Low skill point (the most important skill on magic tree just impact, mp charge, maximizer then you can spend your sp more on other skill tree)
    • Low stability (60%)
    • Low attack speed
    • Low critical rate
    • You can't use npc or drop staves

    CMIIW

And also if you use chariot as your main damage, long range skill on shoot tree will give damage boost by 1% per level. Most of gun-fu will learn that skill, and I would say, chariot damage from gun-fu is lil higher than other -fu class. But you can still learn that skill on other -fu class but you will waste 5sp on shot mastery :D

But if you pick rush/t.kick as your main, you dont need that~

And if you ask, which better rush or chariot? Its depends on your playstle. Rush is fast, low mp and this is da real skill for fu role, yea most of kungfu use their foot than hand. But chariot also good, its long ranged and have more damage if you compare than rush, but it will lose da -fu role LOL

Fus aren't as popular now with the advent of Level 4 skills.

They were once popular because martial skills are really lackluster on knuckles with their terrible Stat growth.

Level 4 Knuckle skills gets more boost with the Agi stat now and just using the respective main weapon skills(sword, shot, maybe staff because Finale) is better than trying to use martial skills.

I don't see the point on spreading your sp thin when you can deal more damage just using sword/shot/staff skills.
