How much antidegradation does full luk refiner have
And how does luk refine+antideg work? How much antidegradation is that each and total?

Is it better to refine with or without antideg for +S?

 

Not definitive.

Some one only assumed as it is handled server side.

Personal stats(CRI and MNT) increases certain stats by 1% for every 3.4 stat. So people assumed that 3.4 LUK = 1% antideg rate, 255 = 75%. Basically a free Anti-Deg.

With Anti-Deg then it's about 93.75% antideg rate.

Take it with a grain of salt though as this info came from hearsay.

Same one I did with Refining. I calculated both the antideg rate from luck and item as separate and independent from each other.

25% Failure rate. Calculate the failure rate of both tries failing = 25% * 25% = 0.25 * 0.25 = 0.0625.

Subtract it to 1.
1-0.0625 = 0.9375 = 93.75%

There is a 93.75% chance that at least 1 try will succeed.


I did this(treat each antideg rate separately) because increasing 75% by 75% should give you more than a hundred % success rate but we all know that people still fails with full luck + Anti Deg.

Super Andeg + Full Luck:
0.15 * 0.25 = 0.9625 = 96.25%


Note that everything I posted is based on the hearsay that full luck = 75% antideg rate.

Eh i always thought that 255 luck give 25%degrade prevent and u add ad for it to make 100.
And it nvr dropped for me.

 

It has for me and friends so it definitely couldn't be 100

 

People assumed it's 75% due to MNT and CRI giving bonus every 3.4 stat(75% at 255). And people probably tried upgrading using luck without Anti-Deg and the degradation rate is comparable to that of using Anti-Deg. Don't have the time and resources to try it myself though.


My explanation on how I came up with the math(based on the rumored 255 Luk = 75% antideg rate):

Even with full Luk and Anti-Deg, people can still fail. So 75% * (1 + 75%) = 131.25% = Wrong.

So maybe it's checking 2 instances of degradation rate, your natural(Luk) and the Anti-Deg. You only need 1 of it to succeed to prevent degradation.

1st check = success
2nd check = success
= No Degradation

1st check = success
2nd check = fail
= No Degradation

1st check = fail
2nd check = success
= No Degradation

1st check = fail
2nd check = fail
= Degradation

The chance of it succeeding at least once is 93.75%

Of course everything I said falls apart if that "Full Luck = 75%" rumor isn't true.

How many stacks did you use from B - S? Degradation included.

 

1.5stk hema and 1-2stk antideg and 5pc super anti
Took a break and I felt lucky so I decided to try my luck today and after 5 hemas it worked...

 

this is a test of refining without anti degradation
you can compare it with your refinement that using anti degra

 

Damn that's lucky.

Trying for +A, mine degraded after the 20th try to +C. Wasted 1 stack of Ori trying to get to +B to no avail(yeah I know I should've stopped for that day around the 50th try but I get stubborn sometimes LoL). Now it's at +D and I don't have any money left to buy Ori. Still have 31 stacks of Anti Deg though so maybe I'll sell some when Anniv event comes.
