Is there a special Shark during Octo Boss? Got hit by 1 that took out 1/3rd of my oxygen bar...

Also, death animation before disappearing means you're the one who dealt the killing blow and monsters disappearing without the death animation means you didn't land the killing blow?

If that's true then I have 2 confirmed Octopus kills(all the other time, the octopus just disappears) yet no 100k points. Seems to be a hoax I guess...

 

Nice! I have been thinking of making bg tank. That bg will come in handy.

 

Octo runs are more like time limited events. 1st octo run lasted just 10mins. After maint, it became 15. It is sync in all servers so it is better to set up a safe spot and just tap away to work for the extra points. Otherwise hitting it once just give you the 1k point default reward.

 

It is easier to hit rays on shallows or in the depts of the sandy bottom specially if it is already charging at you going mid dept gives you a lot of targets but it is more like swimming inside a blender being bounced around all the time. Oxy tanks may last more or less than 15 mins unless you have been rammed by a shark or wander too close to other sea creatures. Bumping to other players wont give you harm tho. I have a player's foot phased on my face on a octo run and it did nothing to my tanks.

 

Why are archers and tanks penalized? Every other class has unlimitted buys and can get slotted items every day! No bow, no tank sword!?! No one hand sword at all.

i was just on the side spamming bowgun. was lucky not to get toppled by fishies so i lasted 15 mins.

 

That's kinda how they do their events at times. Sometimes the gear specialized for your class isn't all that great for your level...if they even have them at all. It's better to simply wait for the next event. However, it's not a total loss. Saving the exclusive gear later down the road and then selling it as an app can net you some money to be used on what you want.

 

This item always have 1 slot or i have to buy it again and again until i got 1 slot item?

 

Buy repeatedly until you get a slotted one. Not rare though, got a slotted shaved ice hat on the 3rd try.

 

currently sitting at 40k pts,, my main goal to reach 90k pts to grab sewing tools and stop before my sanity is gone

 

Is the 100 crit on diver bg good for DPS or is anniversary bg still better

 

There is about 200+ difference in attack if you +S both. Still not counting the boost of Atk+%. You'll also lose the Crit Damage on a statted weapon.

I don't know if you can close that gap if you replace Crit equips with Attack/CD boosting equips.
