newbee has questions

1. how do you guys get metal materials? by farming or buying? i trying get it by farming skeleton, but all i see there only botter :/
2. how to get 5 costs on star gem? i saw youtube and he has 5 costs,,but mine only 4....?
3. is it alright to die at gem run? does it affect xtal drop rate?

 

1. Farming, we (friends) farm goblins.
2. Upgrade star gems it will increase the cost. Btw four is the max cost right now.
3. Its fine to die.

 

Most metal mats nowadays are farmed along with energy bottles(not much bots there, but i honestly dont know)

Ya need to level up to 150 to move it to cost5(forgot the true level tho)

As long as you dont get kicked out of party or boss stage, you are fine. Dunno about the opinion of your mates tho, some consider that leeching.

 

In gem run i take lead when fight starts i take death truffle yeah it always works for me.

It doesn't affect gem drop rate but it affect ur rank and in gem runs rank=xtal tho ultimate 100% xtal still my friend didn't get xtal even in ultimate gem.

Yup and when gwaimol was new boss me and my friends do legendary run on that boss me tank and by mistake my friend done nightmare mode ._. except me my whole pt die like hell 1-2 hit dead BC Gem enhance boss stats no victory gem.that was 31 minutes long gem run and only me got xtal and all 4 ranks even attacker BC my whole pt die like soo many times.I think rank matters in gem run alot.

 

Rank affect in gem run in case u didnt know there is very high chance like take tyrant machina for example that u can get tyrant xtal in rank and one more too. Including all the dyes so it is very recommended to have victory gem in ultimate gem run.

 

1. I farm boars at Sykea, they drop metal, beast, and energy bottles. (the spare eb sells to fund my stargem addiction)
2. When you reach level 150 with any character you own you will get 5 cost for stargems. (5 stargem cost will be available for all characters even those under 150)
3. Dying in a gem run is ok in the sense you might still get a gem. It's not ok to die since the survivors of the party need to work harder and the run most likely will run longer and there's the posibility everyone dies which is a pain.
