Acquiring Magic Blade and Dark Power

I missed the time window to get the books to learn Magic Blade and Dark Power. Does anyone have any idea when the books will be available again? Since you have to use a consumable to learn these skill trees (rather than going to the library), do you think they might be hard to get? Thank you.

 

Free books maybe never. But the library will always have them for a price depending on how many skills you have. Of course it is a little known fact that the more you have, the dang loan shark of a librarian will charge more.

 

Would suck tho using the book and then reseting skills just to learn it can't be bought at library

 

Players would be outraged if that happen. Orb shop option is nice and all if you have the dough and not spinna. Rmt would be reduced too if skills can be available by orbs. I dont think it will be orb shop exclusive tho. It would make asobimo look bad as a money hoarder company(even when they have been so generous).

And there the skills are shop only, so pay or gtfo there.
That coming to Toram might happen. :3

 

In that game, do you only have to pay real money once to unlock the skills?

 

If toram becomes a "pay to progress" game, it would be the time for me to think about retirement and moving on to other pastures.

 

I really hope that Asobimo stays as it is; the complete opposite of companies like EA. But the fact that Lv1 Dark Power and Magic Blade skills will not be at the library concerns me. My hope is that it will be like in Iruna where users farm a mob or do a quest to get a skill book.

 

You buy lvl 320 skill in iruna for 10m-ish tho.... Cuz they too lazy to make skill quests

 

i think its their way of giving the players early access to the skills , its still lvl 1 anyway and not 3

 

You might be right and I'm just overreacting haha

 

I like this idea, like maybe one(8 player boss raid) or even all bosses after venena will have low chance to drop its fragment(make it like 100fragments = 1skill book).

 

I hope up to t4 skill books can drop so newbies wont get kicked for not having x skill.

Besides, they stand to make more money selling specific star gems.

Usually with gifts like that, they are given after maintenance. (They have to sift out all the crap)

 

i just hope it comes with atleast one free reset/obli book or ill be depressed for my HB.

 

Skills aren't unlocked, they have there a skill record system, each skill is like a card with rarity 1 to 4 star.
During the gameplay you'll get mostly crappy 1* passives, but in order to get the 4* ones, you'll need to get them from skill gachas...so from the shop...
Each weapon has their own skills and the draws are random.........and the draw rates SUUUUUUCK!!!
Basically you have a 0,078% chance for a 4*....
It's horrible...

 

So, you end up with a crap load of crappy skills w/out a decent way to use them. Im starting to look at our stargems at a better light. Since you can basically turn crap into gold.(heck, cheapest stargems still cost a bunch but it is not that all bad.)

 

It's a money graber... You could put all the greediness of Toram, iruna, Alchemia and Avabel together....and it still would reach SAO IF level of greediness.

 

I would like that u need to make quest like kill certain bosses or bring rare mats for getting rare skills tiers and branches and they gift books as reward so u can learn it. It would be cool and revive the dead quest system here
