U probably know me from asking tank related question these days. So I want to ask u all something again.
They say higher resistance doesn't always means better, especially if u manage to refine ur equip to a certain degree. So should I sacrifice force shield and magical shield to invest in impact lvl 7? Cause I think I might need impact to control proration.

You don't need impact to control proration. Just auto once instead

It costs more sp to get inpact lvl7 rather than force/magic shield lvl10. If you dont want more resistance than get passives like play dead, first aid, drop up or exp up. Like Alzarith said just auto once

Auto once? U mean auto attack? How about when farming multiple mini bosses? Well I think that problem will be solved with the right dps composition. Am I right?

Change your targets. Impact is only one hit of magical prorate, one auto is neutral prorate, both of which counter physical prorate. As the tank your job is to hold Aggro and keep prorate in good condition at the same time. Hold down your action button and select another miniboss and auto that one for a while instead of impacting. Berserk and war cry and other support skills will hold Aggro for you, like Bago said, while you do so

    EDIT
Aahhhh it replied to bago instead of the other person

    Alzarith knows everything haha
Yea its exactly like he said dude
Manage proration with auto, you don't need impact its a waste of sp, mp and you're main role is to keep aggro down to yourself and manage proration for your party
Invest in party buffers or self buffers, or a support like first aid
Just remember the role tank has and emphasize that as best as you can
