Do i need tech stats for blacksmith NPC refinement ?

    Hello, if i want the NPC blacksmith to refine an untradable gear, would i need tech stats still ?

    No. Zaldo has set success rates that cannot be changed, you'd have to make a blacksmith character yourself with full tech in order to refine untradables with a high success rate.

    No. Tech is only for player smiths and synths.

    Making a new smith/synth character will be cheaper in the long run. A dedicated smith synth will also make you money from selling stats, refines, gear, and apps.
