    - Is this your 1st time playing an MMO? Grinding is and will always be part of MMOs. You don't want to grind? There are a lot of idle games in the play store, why do lazy people want grindy games anyway? Also you basically just said that the only chance for a newbie to catch up is bot/tuyul as well(so much for playing the game LoL). So legit newbies GTFO?

    - You do know that the bots/tuyuls are mostly to blame that the legit newbie's hard earned cash is lower now right? 300k a stack of anti-deg LoL, 30k-40k+ per 4 stack of NC LoL, Crysta prices(non MQ ones) are dropping a lot too LoL.

    - LoL did i ever mentioned this is the first MMO i played?didn't,and i'm f2p,not lazy either.

    - i know that,thank you,and i completely support the idea of removing tuyuls/bots

as long as not killing the game along with them since they already became one of the roots.
also, half of the faults belongs to the normal player too, abusively lowering prices from both bots and newbies by taking advantage of their knowledge.

and how exactly can you propose a solution?

It won't die if you remove the bots/tuyuls. The only thing it will kill are players who are too reliant on them, mostly rich people who are already OP enough. The newbies will stay and the cycle will start anew. The game isn't that hard that you can't beat it not fully geared(2s, perfect crystas, max upgrade) as far as I can even say that the game is a bit on the casual side. Plus this is a coop game too so the rush to be the best shouldn't even be prioritized too much.

One of the primary reasons of a dead game is a dead economy. I've experienced this too many times while playing Ragnarok private servers. And sadly, after 6 months of playing, I think it is heading there too with the difference in prices from back when I started to now.

right, killing the veterans but taking in new players who can enjoy the perfect clean enviroment could be good.

I get what you are saying really, but asobimo most likely prefer to keep the veterans alive, that's why they only limit the tuyuls and bots by only expanding the requirements to decel quest and banning bots slowly.

the solution is quite vague, saying straight out "Ban all bots and tuyuls!" is easy and all...but it's harder to do it than we think.

It's hard because they're too lenient. Sending them a vid of modding/botting and they would disregard that and ask you to report them in-game which is actually a very bothersome process. Plus those stupid monster kill and add friend emblems.

In short, it's mostly Asobimo's fault.

I agree. The one main reason as to why games mostly die is because of a dead economy. Why? The game solely runs on spina. For potions, gears, refine(npc), synth(npc), and many more! Also, the orb items arent that much of a help at all, so players dont really need a lot of orbs to be op and have fun, they need spina. So if the economy dies, the player’s motivation to play will be greatly affected. Not just the real players, but the bots too! Botters are only good temporarily, but in the long run... they wont last. Take NC for example. The current price is 30-33k per 4 stck. What will happen if this becomes 10k later on if left unattended? It’s not impossible. Botters too, will quit if the economy dies.

I remember thara frog cards were just 1m, but when the bots came....

40m~50m. A million zenny for $0.50. The server became overpopulated and yep, people left. A lot!

Honestly, I could do with a p2p just to remove these damn bots

Just to add. These bots will not only bring the prices up, but will also reduce the rarity of highly sought after items.

Builds will be the same, and no more individuality. This is what killed ragnarok. People buying rmt, and all the people in the higher tiers' gear is the same.

So whats the point of playing then after that? Quit. Since there is no more new stuff to do, cant even enjoy well earned stuff since the next person looks the same and is geared the same.

I agree with everything you said, but this. Botters were never a good boost for the economy at any point of Toram's existence. Arguing that NC bots, spina bots, and bots that farm xtals 'improved' the economy is basically ignoring that the goalpost for wealth and good gear was drastically changed by their existence. That's not a good thing. Even in small quantities of time. As grievance a bot would fill, could have been filled by developers tweaking something so that actually players could cope. Once bots are in an environment, the standard for the environment is botting. No short time, no long time, it is from then till the end of the game that bots will be the standard of menial task.

Also, anyone that thinks 'If we didn't have NC bots nobody here would be level capped' is correct. However, a high quantity of players failing to reach the level cap would have been a GOOD thing. As Asobimo would have had way more incentive to fix up the issue of leveling long ago. As opposed to waiting 2 years to fix them because people 'consistently hit level cap'. Guys, sometimes a community failing to achieve something isn't a bad thing. It sometimes incentives the developers to change things so that normal players can cope. Bots always screw this up though and set a standard of cheating that 'looks fine' but isn't fine for anyone that plays the game legitimately.
