I just block them, all toxic players, irrelevant to their country. Ignoring them will just keep filling your chats with unimportant chats, which will burn your eyes one after another. Blocking them ends it right from the start. Happy ending.

    Say "no u"
Anyway there isn't much you can do other than block them. Maybe you could say
"If you're so much better why can't you tank?" Or something along the lines. Then laugh when they die and maybe even escape and leave pt.

Do note that some people are just plain cancerous and will continue to spam thinking cussing makes them cool. Tbh just block them.

You might want to try going to the Eng server if you can or one of the other Int servers because the people there are a lot less toxic, they even have roleplayers in places like Rakau instead of "add me" players (which is funny because we used to complain about roleplayers too).

Even though the other servers are a lot friendlier than Int1, they don't seem to have as many people grinding at bosses, so I guess the toxic players on Int1 may just have to be an issue you deal with.

Personally, if someone were to insult me in a game I'd insult them back because I'm an over-defensive asshole, but oddly enough I don't have to deal with these kinds of people a lot. As a brawler main, I would kinda expect to get the most insults, especially because a lot of the brawlers on this site like to complain about how they are "Toram's most opressed minority" (brawlers rise up), but It just doesn't happen to me.

My guess as to why Eastern players tend to be more competitive and agressive is because of the East's culture of the whole "Work 9:00-5:00", then do 4 hours overtime at your assebly line job, so these people want to work as quickly and efficiently as possible because that's just how they live. The other reason might be because Eastern cultures like to speak their mind more, while in the West we have that "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it" BS, so even if a Western player is thinking the same thing as an Eastern player, they would be less likely to say it.

Insulting them back will backfire us and we will get reported instead, be it by the toxic players themself or by other players nearby. (personal experience)

So... Keep calm and report them in silent.

You know what is funny? I met someone who in the past worked as someone who monitor the game, not exactly GM though. And although he is not on the job anymore, he still have a way to scan other players for things such as; if the scanned player is using a third party app, how many times they got reported along with the reasons, etc. He scanned me which gave result that i got reported few times for silly reasons, among them was "party jumping".
Now i guess we can report other player for such any silly reason. XD

Just use proper English and they'll act more reserved. Those who do have decent English speaking skill are usually well educated and civil

Meh, if the boss is reactive to tumble, flinch etc, I use tumble and flinch. If not, I prorate until party DPS goes to shit and spam bless and chakra after.

As you can see, I am more than capable of talking proper english. But that does not solve the "culture" of toxicity. What you suggest is just to alienate them into stopping at that moment and attack another person. Well, pester is more the word XD

Yeah, it's unfortunate that some Indonesians are so rude in game. I've met some nice ones, and they're sick of these people too.

I'd report them, seems to work. I imagine they give up in game. But report them, so they learn a lesson or go away.

Yes, it doesn't solve the toxicity, but they will talk less and at best, use some broken English to harass you. Which is hilarious rather than annoying
