Tell me why I've been farming Norm Zoe for two weeks with about 900% drop rate books active and still haven't gotten the Book Shield?????? :'(

Why not farm on hard? She's not that hard.. But again, it depends on your party. I didn't use any books but I got a lot of shields.

Was the shield even on the drop lost for Normal diff? I never farmed normal so idk.

 

Yes full break and @JerryRST the shield is on the norm list

 

I've been farming Zoe on "very hard" for a few days now.. mostly hats and armor dropped. Just got 1 shield out of all those runs. Maybe the drop rate is simply terrible as I have yet to get a single xstal.

 

Odd... I did hunt early on. Got 3 book shields 2pcs 3d armor 2 zoe xtals, then i went into hiatus. (Pet training, med mat farming, buisy irl, crappy connection) i got all that on hard mode (specially when the 3rd break part is removed). I was always aiming for a zoe hat, but it is illusive as always and i lost interest(and crappy connections is putting me off my game). I hope i would get a chance on that hat again but most parties prefer very hard nowadays and it is beyond my current mage's capability.

Btw, hallow arm2(light)+afro hat+ partyglases is a good disco era look. Groovy!

 

I also got 3-4 book shields farming hard or very hard without using books, so I thought it wasn't a rare drop......

 

You should try farming at Hard. Book shield drop there easier in my opinion. Got around 5-6 when i was farming there b4 very hard open.

 

I got my zoe book this morning by the help of a friend, we do hard run full break, she kill while I use luck mage xD took us about 10 runs to get 1 shield, and yeah zoe boon isnt a rare drop so better let a space on your bag while farming.

 

Did solo runs on hard zoe with luk mage and mercs and i got the shield while i was aiming for the hat... also got zoe xtal when i switched to normal mode after that... STILL NO HAT T.T

 

Yeah, normally I hate gathering the materials to get the books but I broke down and farmed them. Had one book so I could get to hard. Took literally like 10 battles to get the Shield. So now I finally got it. It makes no sense how you have less of a chance to get it on normal mode.

 

Once you open the option, you dont need books to farm zoe if you are just aiming for boss drop.
