So I decided to make something similar to spellblade but it turned out bad lol I'm lvl 112 got like 160 int and I think 130 dex

Gear is 1h@149+C fire element 13%to earth 6% attk zolban arm fotrista(town bs vers)ns add is nightcap twilight spec magic talisman 3 ooze .....im trash I got 20m left and want this to work cuz magic sword classes always been my fav in mmos I killed a very good dw to make this guy and I can't even survive iconos for 1 minute lol my damage is crap on both ends I'm sure my skills are wrong I need help ill make new char and buy nc to 112 again if I have to I can barley even kill regular mobs lol so any advice would be fantastic idk if these guides are outdated or not on this post but I been looking over them I just wanted to be different and I have failed

 

player crafted gear is "too weak" for this, you need the magic swords dropped by bosses.
stat growth is slow, so it's better to focus on supportive stats rather than raw attack power.
damage comes mainly from the resistance shift caused by poration, consecutive combos are usually more effective than a single smited skill.

What magic sword bosses drop I thought the ice weps were craft only

 

ice is craft only, but the others so far are all boss drops.
phyto blade and black sword of delusion are the last i remember...
then the ice weapons were added, and i'm not up to date with 1h swords

for my 2h (magiknight) i have wind plunder and sinergatis,
and maybe i will get sealing blade.

 

Tbh i wish there were more weapons like the ice weapons.It makes builds interesting since it's like going against the norms

 

york has an armor and add gear which raise matk by str and vit.
it represents his low magic power which he compensates with his engineering skills.
i'm sure there will be more stuff like that for the higher levels

 

The increase from them is very small

 

yes, the ice weapons have a higher increase, but they also have stats that lower atk.
so in the end, it's roughly the same

 

What stat do they have that lowers MAtk?

it's atk, not matk.

what i mean is that all StatUp(other stat) stats have only a minor increase and that the ice weapon's major increase is compensated by a StatDown(other stat) stat.

I have them both for my magic swordsman build now~! I'm building it based on a build I found in youtube, with some modifications XD
Though I'm still very new in Toram, so it might not turn out really well, but it's fun ^^

to counter low dmg and penalty of md sub, max magic warrior mastery, sword conversion, and Enchant Sword (most important bc gives nice dmg)
also I noticed something else...
Ur tank uses mtl but I heard mtl is useless if you don't max it or something like that...

btw yep digging through builds are fun xD (but don't fall too deep into that and keep making fun builds and become weak player like me lol -ya I'm weakest among my friends and guild xP but some builds are still progressing and magic sword is one of them atm) One of the build turned out to be okay for able to survive long and deal descent dmg but I accidentally deleted and don't remember any more... but it had bunch of skills mixed.. and all melee
