[Q] About Katana

hello there toram-ers...!!
I am new to katana, i got some questions regarding on some skills:
1. is it worth to get crit up lvl 10 for a already full crit rate katana (i'm using modestia)? is that 5% crit dmg. is good for tenryu build?
2. is whack works on tenryu?
3. is zantei is worth getting on tenryu + magadachi build?
4. should i get war cry or brave aura?

 

Getting zantei is worth it for all katana builds, not only does it block an attack and deal a counter with armor break ailment, but it's also used for extending tenryuu's buff in situations where you're getting hit every 1 second(boss wave attacks everywhere) and magadachi becomes useless, also try watching hivan's solo videos on bosses: http://toramonline.com/index.php?th...ultimate-solo-katana-10-15.42319/#post-454950, he's a master of katana class, you'll realize how useful zantei is after watching his videos. Also get warcry, you should leave brave aura to the bow or finale users, getting hit just once deactivates brave aura, and as a melee character you are ALWAYS getting hit

 

1 - Yes and No. If you plan to upgrade to a custom statted katana in the future, it's worth the 10 skill points. However, if you plan to use Modestia for the rest of your builds, then no. It's also dependent on how you want your katana characters to work.

2 - It should.

3 - Yes. As @+Aria Kanzaki+ mentioned above, magadachi becomes useless on fights where it's difficult to avoid to constantly get hit. And it's also mp efficient, as unlike Magadachi, you can place it in a combo.

4 - War Cry. It's a buff that almost every single dps build use, if not all. Brave Aura is more used by ranged classes, and pure support players if any.

Magadachi is easier to use. Zantei in a combo needs timing, while mp efficient, it also cuts down time on your buff.

 

I mean other than that, for ailments.
