Need help, Don't remember what to do x.x

Hello, I haven't played in quite sometime since level cap was like 105 and halberd users had just surpassed arrow mages in terms of dps. I was hoping someone could maybe fill me in on the game changes as I logged into my old account and couldn't even combo because for some reason smash isn't a valid start skill to a combo anymore. I have a shield mage and a halberd dps lvls 105 and 96. Still in my old guild but looks very much not active. Advice, tips, what I've missed and whether or not my classes are still relevant would be helpful, thank you.

 

Level cap is now 175, all weapon classes have tier4 skills, katana class was added, all mages are still valid as long as you level a character to 150 and learn Finale, halberd is still valid but most heavily use the t4 skill Dragon Tooth and you can level through combat plus do Main Quest on all characters so Side Quests are no longer necessary unless you're rich or lazy.

Yes and take advantage of the food buffs.

 

Mind's Eye finally got fixed and now uses the status cooldown instead of the status duration.

 

Smash is a valid Combo opener, maybe you are just lacking enough Combo points

 

Now every character has different MQ progresses. When you make a new one, you can choose to start over MQ for that char. Purely finishing MQ will get you to around lv123.

All weapons have lv4 skills accessible at lv150 (DW lv4 is 170 tho). They are quite OP. Best to try getting them as soon as possible.

Now you get bonus exp if you kill mobs/minibosses/boss -/+ 3 levels from you. Bye bye NC :3

 

actually it's +-4
but it's more effective the smaller the difference, with a 10x multiplier at +-0

 

Do you know exactly how the multiplier scales down with each level?

 

3x multiplier at 4 level difference
7x multiplier at 3 level difference
9x multiplier at 2 level difference
10x multiplier at 1 level difference
11x multiplier at 0 level difference
